Matthew 13:36-44 CEV
(36) After Jesus left the crowd and went inside, his disciples came to him and said, "Explain to us the story about the weeds in the wheat field." (37) Jesus answered: The one who scattered the good seed is the Son of Man. (38) The field is the world, and the good seeds are the people who belong to the kingdom. The weed seeds are those who belong to the evil one, (39) and the one who scattered them is the devil. The harvest is the end of time, and angels are the ones who bring in the harvest. (40) Weeds are gathered and burned. That's how it will be at the end of time. (41) The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everyone who does wrong or causes others to sin. (42) Then he will throw them into a flaming furnace, where people will cry and grit their teeth in pain. (43) But everyone who has done right will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. If you have ears, pay attention! (44) The kingdom of heaven is like what happens when someone finds treasure hidden in a field and buries it again. A person like that is happy and goes and sells everything in order to buy that field.

Matthew 13:36-44 NWT
36 Then after dismissing the crowds he went into the house. And his disciples came to him and said: "Explain to us the illustration of the weeds in the field." 37 In response he said: "The sower of the fine seed is the Son of man; 38 the field is the world; as for the fine seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; but the weeds are the sons of the wicked one, 39 and the enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is a conclusion of a system of things, and the reapers are angels. 40 Therefore, just as the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be in the conclusion of the system of things. 41 The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out from his kingdom all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness, 42 and they will pitch them into the fiery furnace. There is where [their] weeping and the gnashing of [their] teeth will be. 43 At that time the righteous ones will shine as brightly as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him that has ears listen. 44 "The kingdom of the heavens is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid; and for the joy he has he goes and sells what things he has and buys that field.

Matthew 13:36-44 BBE
(36) Then he went away from the people, and went into the house; and his disciples came to him, saying, Make clear to us the story of the evil plants in the field. (37) And he made answer and said, He who puts the good seed in the earth is the Son of man; (38) And the field is the world; and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom; and the evil seeds are the sons of the Evil One; (39) And he who put them in the earth is Satan; and the getting in of the grain is the end of the world; and those who get it in are the angels. (40) As then the evil plants are got together and burned with fire, so will it be in the end of the world. (41) The Son of man will send out his angels, and they will take out of his kingdom everything which is a cause of error, and all those who do wrong, (42) And will put them into the fire; there will be weeping and cries of sorrow. (43) Then will the upright be shining as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him give ear. (44) The kingdom of heaven is like a secret store of wealth in a field, which a man came across and put back again; and in his joy he goes and gives all he has, to get that field.

Matthew 13:36-44 GNB
(36) When Jesus had left the crowd and gone indoors, his disciples came to him and said, "Tell us what the parable about the weeds in the field means." (37) Jesus answered, "The man who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man; (38) the field is the world; the good seed is the people who belong to the Kingdom; the weeds are the people who belong to the Evil One; (39) and the enemy who sowed the weeds is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvest workers are angels. (40) Just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire, so the same thing will happen at the end of the age: (41) the Son of Man will send out his angels to gather up out of his Kingdom all those who cause people to sin and all others who do evil things, (42) and they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where they will cry and gnash their teeth. (43) Then God's people will shine like the sun in their Father's Kingdom. Listen, then, if you have ears! (44) "The Kingdom of heaven is like this. A man happens to find a treasure hidden in a field. He covers it up again, and is so happy that he goes and sells everything he has, and then goes back and buys that field.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
