Matthew 18:1-6 BBE
(1) In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? (2) And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them, (3) And said, Truly, I say to you, If you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven. (4) Whoever, then, will make himself as low as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (5) And whoever gives honour to one such little child in my name, gives honour to me: (6) But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck, and to come to his end in the deep sea.

Matthew 18:1-6 ALT
(1) In that hour [or, At that time] the disciples approached Jesus, saying, "So who is greatest in the kingdom of the heavens?" (2) And Jesus having summoned a young child, He set him in the middle of them (3) and said, "Positively, I say to youp, unless youp are turned around [fig., changed inwardly] and become like such young children, by no means shall youp enter into the kingdom of the heavens. (4) "Therefore, whoever will humble himself like this young child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens. (5) "And whoever receives one such child in My name, receives Me. (6) "And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble [fig., to sin], it [would be] better for him that a millstone of a donkey [fig., a huge millstone] be hanged on his neck, and he be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Matthew 18:1-6 CEV
(1) About this time the disciples came to Jesus and asked him who would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (2) Jesus called a child over and had the child stand near him. (3) Then he said: I promise you this. If you don't change and become like a child, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven. (4) But if you are as humble as this child, you are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (5) And when you welcome one of these children because of me, you welcome me. (6) It will be terrible for people who cause even one of my little followers to sin. Those people would be better off thrown into the deepest part of the ocean with a heavy stone tied around their necks!

Matthew 18:1-6 NWT
18 In that hour the disciples came near to Jesus and said: "Who really is greatest in the kingdom of the heavens?" 2 So, calling a young child to him, he set it in their midst 3 and said: "Truly I say to you, unless you turn around and become as young children, you will by no means enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 4 Therefore, whoever will humble himself like this young child is the one that is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens; 5 and whoever receives one such young child on the basis of my name receives me [also]. 6 But whoever stumbles one of these little ones who put faith in me, it is more beneficial for him to have hung around his neck a millstone such as is turned by an ass and to be sunk in the wide, open sea.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
