Matthew 26:20-25 NWT ...now, it had become evening, he was reclining at the table with the twelve disciples. 21 While they were eating, he said: “Truly I say to YOU, One of YOU will betray me.” 22 Being very much grieved at this, they commenced each and every one to say to him: “Lord, it is not I, is it?” 23 In reply he said: “He that dips his hand with me in the bowl is the one that will betray me. 24 True, the Son of man is going away, just as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been finer for him if that man had not been born.” 25 By way of reply Judas, who was about to betray him, said: “It is not I, is it, Rabbi?” He said to him: “You yourself said [it].”

Matthew 26:20-25 GNB ...When it was evening, Jesus and the twelve disciples sat down to eat. (21) During the meal Jesus said, "I tell you, one of you will betray me." (22) The disciples were very upset and began to ask him, one after the other, "Surely, Lord, you don't mean me?" (23) Jesus answered, "One who dips his bread in the dish with me will betray me. (24) The Son of Man will die as the Scriptures say he will, but how terrible for that man who will betray the Son of Man! It would have been better for that man if he had never been born!" (25) Judas, the traitor, spoke up. "Surely, Teacher, you don't mean me?" he asked. Jesus answered, "So you say."

Matthew 26:20-25 ESV ...When it was evening, he reclined at table with the twelve. (21) And as they were eating, he said, "Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me." (22) And they were very sorrowful and began to say to him one after another, "Is it I, Lord?" (23) He answered, "He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me. (24) The Son of Man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born." (25) Judas, who would betray him, answered, "Is it I, Rabbi?" He said to him, "You have said so."

Matthew 26:20-25 GW ...When evening came, Jesus was at the table with the twelve apostles. (21) While they were eating, he said, "I can guarantee this truth: One of you is going to betray me." (22) Feeling deeply hurt, they asked him one by one, "You don't mean me, do you, Lord?" (23) Jesus answered, "Someone who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. (24) The Son of Man is going to die as the Scriptures say he will. But how horrible it will be for that person who betrays the Son of Man. It would have been better for that person if he had never been born." (25) Then Judas, who betrayed him, asked, "You don't mean me, do you, Rabbi?" "Yes, I do," Jesus replied.

Matthew 26:20-25 CEV ...When Jesus was eating with his twelve disciples that evening, he said, "One of you will surely hand me over to my enemies." (21) (SEE 26:20) (22) The disciples were very sad, and each one said to Jesus, "Lord, you can't mean me!" (23) He answered, "One of you men who has eaten with me from this dish will betray me. (24) The Son of Man will die, as the Scriptures say. But it's going to be terrible for the one who betrays me! That man would be better off if he had never been born." (25) Judas said, "Teacher, you surely don't mean me!" "That's what you say!" Jesus replied. But later, Judas did betray him.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
