Matthew 26:26-29 GW While they were eating, Jesus took bread and blessed it. He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples, and said, "Take this, and eat it. This is my body." (27) Then he took a cup and spoke a prayer of thanksgiving. He gave it to them and said, "Drink from it, all of you. (28) This is my blood, the blood of the promise. It is poured out for many people so that sins are forgiven. (29) "I can guarantee that I won't drink this wine again until that day when I drink new wine with you in my Father's kingdom."

(29) "But I say to you, from now on by no means shall I drink of this fruit of the grapevine until that day when I shall be drinking it with you new in the kingdom of My Father."

(27) Then he took a cup, gave thanks to God, and gave it to them. "Drink it, all of you," he said; (28) "this is my blood, which seals God's covenant, my blood poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (29) I tell you, I will never again drink this wine until the day I drink the new wine with you in my Father's Kingdom."
