Matthew 8:10-13 CEV When Jesus heard this, he was so surprised that he turned and said to the crowd following him, "I tell you that in all of Israel I've never found anyone with this much faith! (11) Many people will come from everywhere to enjoy the feast in the kingdom of heaven with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (12) But the ones who should have been in the kingdom will be thrown out into the dark. They will cry and grit their teeth in pain." (13) Then Jesus said to the officer, "You may go home now. Your faith has made it happen." Right then his servant was healed.
The "Kingdom of Heaven" is the "New Jerusalem" coming down out of Heaven. (Rev 21:1-8) It is the Kingdom of God's anointed King, Jesus Christ, ruling over all the earth. (Luke 22:18; 1 Cor 15:20-28)
Matthew 8:10-13 GNB When Jesus heard this, he was surprised and said to the people following him, "I tell you, I have never found anyone in Israel with faith like this. (11) I assure you that many will come from the east and the west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of heaven. (12) But those who should be in the Kingdom will be thrown out into the darkness, where they will cry and gnash their teeth." (13) Then Jesus said to the officer, "Go home, and what you believe will be done for you." And the officer's servant was healed that very moment.
Matthew 8:10-13 ESV When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, "Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith. (11) I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, (12) while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (13) And to the centurion Jesus said, "Go; let it be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed at that very moment.
Matthew 8:10-13 GW Jesus was amazed when he heard this. He said to those who were following him, "I can guarantee this truth: I haven't found faith as great as this in anyone in Israel. (11) I can guarantee that many will come from all over the world. They will eat with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. (12) The (first chosen) citizens of that kingdom will be thrown outside into the darkness. People will cry and be in extreme pain there. (13) Jesus told the officer, "Go! What you believed will be done for you." And at that moment the servant was healed.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals. The Translations we quote are:
