Micah 7:2-8 CEV No one is loyal to God; no one does right. Everyone is brutal and eager to deceive everyone else. (3) People cooperate to commit crime. Judges and leaders demand bribes, and rulers cheat in court. (4) The most honest of them is worse than a thorn patch. Your doom has come! Lookouts sound the warning, and everyone panics. (5) Don't trust anyone [rely only on the words of Christ Jesus - Mat 17:5]], not even your best friend, and be careful what you say to the one you love. (6) Sons refuse to respect their own fathers, daughters rebel against their own mothers, and daughters-in-law despise their mothers-in-law. Your family is now your enemy. (7) But I trust the LORD  (  יהוה  )  God to save me, and I will wait for him to answer my prayer. (8) My enemies, don't be glad because of my troubles! I may have fallen, but I will get up; I may be sitting in the dark, but the LORD  (  יהוה  )  is my light.

Micah 7:2-8 GNB There is not an honest person left in the land, no one loyal to God. Everyone is waiting for a chance to commit murder. Everyone hunts down their own people. (3) They are all experts at doing evil. Officials and judges ask for bribes. The influential people tell them what they want, and so they scheme together. (4) Even the best and most honest of them are as worthless as weeds. The day has come when God will punish the people, as he warned them through their watchmen, the prophets. Now they are in confusion. (5) Don't believe your neighbor or trust your friend [rely only on the words of Christ Jesus - Mat 17:5]. Be careful what you say even to your husband or wife. (6) In these times sons treat their fathers like fools, daughters oppose their mothers, and young women quarrel with their mothers-in-law; your enemies are the members of your own family. (7) But I will watch for the LORD  (  יהוה  ) ; I will wait confidently for God, who will save me. My God will hear me. (8) Our enemies have no reason to gloat over us. We have fallen, but we will rise again. We are in darkness now, but the LORD  (  יהוה  )  will give us light.

Micah 7:2-8 ASV The godly man is perished out of the earth, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. (3) Their hands are upon that which is evil to do it diligently; the prince asketh, and the judge is ready for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth the evil desire of his soul: thus they weave it together. (4) The best of them is as a brier; the most upright is worse than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen, even thy visitation, is come; now shall be their perplexity. (5) Trust ye not in a neighbor; put ye not confidence in a friend [rely only on the words of Christ Jesus - Mat 17:5]]; keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. (6) For the son dishonoreth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. (7) But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah  ( יהוה ); I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. (8) Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah  ( יהוה ) will be a light unto me.

Micah 7:2-8 GW Faithful people are gone from the earth, and no one is decent. All people lie in ambush to commit murder. They trap each other with nets. (3) Their hands are skilled in doing evil. Officials ask for gifts. Judges accept bribes. Powerful people dictate what they want. So they scheme together. (4) The best of them is like a briar. The most decent person is sharper than thornbushes. The day you thought you would be punished has come. Now is the time you will be confused. (5) Don't trust your neighbors. Don't have confidence in your friends [rely only on the words of Christ Jesus - Mat 17:5]]. Keep your mouth shut even when a woman is lying in your arms. (6) A son treats his father with contempt. A daughter rebels against her mother. A daughter-in-law rebels against her mother-in-law. People's enemies are the members of their own families. (7) I will look to the LORD  (  יהוה  ). I will wait for God to save me. I will wait for my God to listen to me. (8) Don't laugh at me, my enemies. Although I've fallen, I will get up. Although I sit in the dark, the LORD  (  יהוה  )  is my light.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
