Proverbs 10:6-7 CEV ...Everyone praises good people, but evil hides behind the words of the wicked. (7) Good people are remembered long after they are gone, but the wicked are soon forgotten.

Proverbs 10:6-7 GW ...Blessings cover the head of a righteous person, but violence covers the mouths of wicked people. (7) The name of a righteous person remains blessed, but the names of wicked people will rot away.

Proverbs 10:6-7 GNB ...Good people will receive blessings. The words of the wicked hide a violent nature. (7) Good people will be remembered as a blessing, but the wicked will soon be forgotten.

Proverbs 10:6-7 BBE ...Blessings are on the head of the upright, but the face of sinners will be covered with sorrow. (7) The memory of the upright is a blessing, but the name of the evil-doer will be turned to dust.

Proverbs 10:6-7 ESV ...Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. (7) The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot.
