Proverbs 11:27-31 GW ...Whoever eagerly seeks good searches for good will, but whoever looks for evil finds it. (28) Whoever trusts his riches will fall, but righteous people will flourish like a green leaf. (29) Whoever brings trouble upon his family inherits only wind, and that stubborn fool becomes a slave to the wise in heart. (30) The fruit of a righteous person is a tree of life, and a winner of souls is wise. (31) If the righteous person is rewarded on earth, how much more the wicked person and the sinner!

(30) The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise. (31) If the righteous is repaid on earth, how much more the wicked and the sinner!

Proverbs 11:27-31 GNB ...If your goals are good, you will be respected, but if you are looking for trouble, that is what you will get. (28) Those who depend on their wealth will fall like the leaves of autumn, but the righteous will prosper like the leaves of summer. (29) Those who bring trouble on their families will have nothing at the end. Foolish people will always be servants to the wise. (30) Righteousness gives life, but violence takes it away. (31) Those who are good are rewarded here on earth, so you can be sure that wicked and sinful people will be punished.

Proverbs 11:27-31 CEV ...Try hard to do right, and you will win friends; go looking for trouble, and you will find it. (28) Trust in your wealth, and you will be a failure, but God's people will prosper like healthy plants. (29) Fools who cause trouble in the family won't inherit a thing. They will end up as slaves of someone with good sense. (30) Live right, and you will eat from the life-giving tree. And if you act wisely, others will follow. (31) If good people are rewarded here on this earth, all who are cruel and mean will surely be punished.
