Psalms 37:27-40 MWT (God's name restored)
(27) Turn away from evil and do good, you will keep living and be secure forever. (28) For   יהוה   loves what is right and does not abandon his faithful people; they are preserved forever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. (29) The righteous will inherit the earth and live on it forever. (30) The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks judgment. (31) The Law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not wobble. (32) The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him. (33)   יהוה   does not leave him in his hand; nor does He allow him to be found guilty in his judgment. (34) Wait on   יהוה   and keep His way; and He will exalt you to inherit the earth; you will see when the wicked are cut off. (35) I have seen brutal people abuse others and grow strong like trees in rich soil. (36) Suddenly they disappeared! I looked, but they were gone and no longer there. (37) Think of the bright future waiting for all the families of honest and innocent and peace-loving people. (38) But not a trace will be left of the wicked or their families. (39)   יהוה  protects his people, and they can come to him in times of trouble. (40)   יהוה  helps them and saves them from the wicked because they run to him.

(31) The Law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slide. (32) The wicked spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him. (37) Watch the perfect and behold the upright one; for the end of that man is peace. (38) But the transgressors are destroyed together; the end of the wicked is cut off. (39) But the salvation of the righteous is from Jehovah  ( יהוה ); He is their strength in the time of distress. (40) And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) helps them and delivers them; He shall deliver them from the wicked and saves them, because they trust in Him.

(27) If you stop sinning and start doing right, you will keep living and be secure forever. (28) The LORD  ( יהוה ) loves justice, and he won't ever desert his faithful people. He always protects them, but destroys the children of the wicked. (29) God's people will own the land and live here forever. (30) Words of wisdom come when good people speak for justice. (31) They remember God's teachings, and they never take a wrong step. (32) The wicked try to trap and kill good people, (33) but the LORD is on their side, and he will defend them when they are on trial. (34) Trust the LORD and follow him. He will give you the land, and you will see the wicked destroyed. (35) I have seen brutal people abuse others and grow strong like trees in rich soil. (36) Suddenly they disappeared! (27) Turn away from evil and do good, and your descendants will always live in the land; (28) for the LORD  ( יהוה ) loves what is right and does not abandon his faithful people. He protects them forever, but the descendants of the wicked will be driven out. (29) The righteous will possess the land and live in it forever. (30) The words of good people are wise, and they are always fair. (31) They keep the law of their God in their hearts and never depart from it. (32) Wicked people watch good people and try to kill them; (33) but the LORD will not abandon them to their enemy's power or let them be condemned when they are on trial. (34) Put your hope in the LORD and obey his commands; he will honor you by giving you the land, and you will see the wicked driven out. (35) I once knew someone wicked who was a tyrant; he towered over everyone like a cedar of Lebanon; (36) but later I passed by, and he wasn't there; I looked for him, but couldn't find him. (37) Notice good people, observe the righteous; peaceful people have descendants, (38) but sinners are completely destroyed, and their descendants are wiped out. (39) The LORD  ( יהוה ) saves the righteous and protects them in times of trouble. (40) He helps them and rescues them; he saves them from the wicked, because they go to him for protection.

27 Turn away from what is bad and do what is good, And so reside to time indefinite. 28 For Jehovah  ( יהוה ) is a lover of justice, And he will not leave his loyal ones. To time indefinite they will certainly be guarded; But as for the offspring of the wicked ones, they will indeed be cut off. 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it. 30 The mouth of the righteous is the one that utters wisdom in an undertone, And his is the tongue that speaks justly. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; His steps will not wobble. 32 The wicked one is keeping on the watch for the righteous And is seeking to put him to death. 33 As for Jehovah, he will not leave him to the hand of that one, And he will not pronounce him wicked when he is being judged. 34 Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, And he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see [it]. 35 I have seen the wicked a tyrant And spreading himself as a luxuriant [tree] in native soil. 36 And yet he proceeded to pass away, and there he was not; And I kept seeking him, and he was not found. 37 Watch the blameless one and keep the upright one in sight, For the future of [that] man will be peaceful. 38 But the transgressors themselves will certainly be annihilated together; The future of wicked people will indeed be cut off. 39 And the salvation of the righteous ones is from Jehovah  ( יהוה ); He is their fortress in the time of distress. 40 And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) will help them and provide them with escape. He will provide them with escape from wicked people and save them, Because they have taken refuge in him.

(33) Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. (34) Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. (35) I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil. (36) But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. (37) Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a happy end to the man of peace. (38) As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together; The end of the wicked shall be cut off. (39) But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah  ( יהוה ); He is their stronghold in the time of trouble. (40) And Jehovah  ( יהוה ) helpeth them, and rescueth them; He rescueth them from the wicked, and saveth them, Because they have taken refuge in him.
