Psalms 92:1-93:5 LITV
(1) A Psalm, A Song for the Sabbath Day. It is good to give thanks to Jehovah ( יהוה ), and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;
(2) to make Your mercy known in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night;
(3) on the ten strings, and on the harp; on the lyre with sounding music.
(4) For You have rejoiced me with Your work, O Jehovah ( יהוה ); I will shout in the works of Your hands.
(5) O Jehovah ( יהוה ), Your purposes are very deep. How great are Your works!
(6) An animal-like man does not know; a fool does not understand this.
(7) When the wicked flourish like grass, and all the evildoers blossom, it is for them to be destroyed forever.
(8) But You, O Jehovah ( יהוה ), are exalted forever.
(9) For, lo, Your enemies, O Jehovah ( יהוה ); for, lo, Your enemies shall perish; all the evildoers shall be scattered.
(10) But You will lift up my horn as the wild ox, and I will be anointed with fresh oil.
(11) And my eye shall look on my enemies; my ears shall hear the evildoers who rise up against me.
(12) The righteous shall flourish as the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
(13) Those planted in the house of Jehovah ( יהוה ), in the courts of our God, shall flourish.
(14) They shall bear fruit in old age; they shall be fat and fresh,
(15) to declare that Jehovah ( יהוה ) is upright, my Rock! And in Him is no evil.
Psalms 93:1-5 LITV
(1) Jehovah ( יהוה ) reigns! He is clothed with majesty; Jehovah ( יהוה ) is clothed with strength; He girded Himself; and the world is established; it shall not be shaken.
(2) Your throne is established from then; You are from everlasting.
(3) The floods have lifted up; O Jehovah ( יהוה ), the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods have lifted their roaring waves.
(4) Jehovah ( יהוה ) on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.
(5) Your testimonies are very sure; holiness becomes Your house to length of days, O Jehovah ( יהוה ).
Psalms 92:1-15 GW
A psalm; a song; for the day of worship. It is good to give thanks to the LORD ( יהוה ), to make music to praise your name, O Most High. (2) It is good to announce your mercy in the morning and your faithfulness in the evening (3) on a ten-stringed instrument and a harp and with a melody on a lyre. (4) You made me find joy in what you have done, O LORD ( יהוה ). I will sing joyfully about the works of your hands. (5) How spectacular are your works, O LORD ( יהוה )! How very deep are your thoughts! (6) A stupid person cannot know and a fool cannot understand (7) that wicked people sprout like grass and all troublemakers blossom like flowers, only to be destroyed forever. (8) But you, O LORD ( יהוה ), are highly honored forever. (9) Now look at your enemies, O LORD ( יהוה ). Now look at your enemies. They disappear, and all troublemakers are scattered. (10) But you make me as strong as a wild bull, and soothing lotion is poured on me. (11) My eyes gloat over those who spy on me. My ears hear the cries of evildoers attacking me. (12) Righteous people flourish like palm trees and grow tall like the cedars in Lebanon. (13) They are planted in the LORD ( יהוה )'S house. They blossom in our God's courtyards. (14) Even when they are old, they still bear fruit. They are always healthy and fresh. (15) They make it known that the LORD ( יהוה ) is decent. He is my rock. He is never unfair.
Psalms 93:1-5 GW
The LORD ( יהוה ) rules as king! He is clothed with majesty. The LORD ( יהוה ) has clothed himself; he has armed himself with power. The world was set in place; it cannot be moved. (2) Your throne was set in place a long time ago. You are eternal. (3) The ocean rises, O LORD ( יהוה ). The ocean rises with a roar. The ocean rises with its pounding waves. (4) The LORD ( יהוה ) above is mighty- mightier than the sound of raging water, mightier than the foaming waves of the sea. (5) Your written testimonies are completely reliable. O LORD ( יהוה ), holiness is what makes your house beautiful for days without end.
Psalms 92:1-93:5 NWT
92 It is good to give thanks to Jehovah ( יהוה ) And to make melody to your name, O Most High; 2 To tell in the morning about your loving-kindness And about your faithfulness during the nights, 3 Upon a ten-stringed instrument and upon the lute, By resounding music on the harp. 4 For you have made me rejoice, O Jehovah ( יהוה ), because of your activity; Because of the works of your hands I cry out joyfully. 5 How great your works are, O Jehovah ( יהוה )! Very deep your thoughts are. 6 No unreasoning man himself can know [them], And no one stupid can understand this. 7 When the wicked ones sprout as the vegetation And all the practicers of what is hurtful blossom forth, It is that they may be annihilated forever. 8 But you are on high to time indefinite, O Jehovah ( יהוה ). 9 For, look! your enemies, O Jehovah ( יהוה ), For, look! your own enemies will perish; All the practicers of what is hurtful will be separated from one another. 10 But you will exalt my horn like that of a wild bull; I shall moisten [myself] with fresh oil. 11 And my eye will look on my foes; My ears will hear about the very ones who rise up against me, the evildoers. 12 The righteous himself will blossom forth as a palm tree does; As a cedar in Lebanon does, he will grow big. 13 Those who are planted in the house of Jehovah ( יהוה ), In the courtyards of our God, they will blossom forth. 14 They will still keep on thriving during gray-headedness, Fat and fresh they will continue to be, 15 To tell that Jehovah ( יהוה ) is upright. [He is] my Rock, in whom there is no unrighteousness.
93 Jehovah ( יהוה ) himself has become king! With eminence he is clothed; Jehovah ( יהוה ) is clothed-with strength he has girded himself. The productive land also becomes firmly established so that it cannot be made to totter. 2 Your throne is firmly established from long ago; You are from time indefinite. 3 The rivers have raised, O Jehovah ( יהוה ), The rivers have raised their sound; The rivers keep raising their pounding. 4 Above the sounds of vast waters, the majestic breaking waves of the sea, Jehovah ( יהוה ) is majestic in the height. 5 Your own reminders have proved very trustworthy. Holiness is befitting to your own house, O Jehovah ( יהוה ), for length of days.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
