Revelation 21:1-4 GW ...I saw a new (tested and pure) heaven and a new (righteous and sin free) earth, because the first heaven and earth had disappeared, and the sea (of unruly mankind - Rev 17:15) was gone. (2) Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem (the kingdom of Christ), coming down from God out of heaven, dressed like a bride ready for her husband. (3) I heard a loud voice from the throne say, "God lives with humans! God will make his home with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God. (4) He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There won't be any more death. There won't be any grief, crying, or pain, because the first things have disappeared."

Revelation 21:1-4 GNB ...Then I saw a new (tested and pure) heaven and a new (righteous and sin free) earth. The first heaven and the first earth disappeared, and the sea (of unruly mankind - Rev 17:15) had vanished. (2) And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem (the kingdom of Christ), coming down out of heaven from God, prepared and ready, like a bride dressed to meet her husband. (3) I heard a loud voice speaking from the throne: "Now God's home is with people! He will live with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them, and he will be their God. (4) He will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death, no more grief or crying or pain. The old things have disappeared."

Revelation 21:1-4 CEV ...I saw a new (tested and pure) heaven and a new (righteous and sin free) earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea (of unruly mankind - Rev 17:15). (2) Then I saw New Jerusalem (the kingdom of Christ), that holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband. (3) I heard a loud voice shout from the throne: God's home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people. (4) He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever.

Revelation 21:1-4 NWT 21 ...And I saw a new (tested and pure) heaven and a new (righteous and sin free) earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea (of unruly mankind - Rev 17:15) is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem (the kingdom of Christ), coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
