Romans 1:1-5 CEV
(1) From Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus. God chose me to be an apostle, and he appointed me to preach the good news (2) that he promised long ago by what his prophets said in the holy Scriptures. (3) This good news is about his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ! As a human, he was from the family of David. But the Holy Spirit proved that Jesus is the powerful Son of God, because he was raised from death. (4) (SEE 1:3) (5) Jesus was kind to me and chose me to be an apostle, so that people of all nations would obey and have faith.

Romans 1:1-5 GNB
(1) From Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus and an apostle chosen and called by God to preach his Good News. (2) The Good News was promised long ago by God through his prophets, as written in the Holy Scriptures. (3) It is about his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ: as to his humanity, he was born a descendant of David; (4) as to his divine holiness, he was shown with great power to be the Son of God by being raised from death. (5) Through him God gave me the privilege of being an apostle for the sake of Christ, in order to lead people of all nations to believe and obey.

Romans 1:1-5 NWT
1 Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ and called to be an apostle, separated to God's good news, 2 which he promised aforetime through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, 3 concerning his Son, who sprang from the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 but who with power was declared God's Son according to the spirit of holiness by means of resurrection from the dead-yes, Jesus Christ our Lord, 5 through whom we received undeserved kindness and an apostleship in order that there might be obedience of faith among all the nations respecting his name,

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
