The Bible Book of Mark
Modern day Religion has utterly and completely failed mankind. They run the gamut from those blowing up men women and children who won't join their religious movement; to those spreading hatred in less obvious ways. They preach non members into an eternal burning fire; or they publicly judge as wicked any individuals who expose what they actually are. Please understand: Such groups are not followers of the God of creation through the teachings of his son Christ Jesus. Please do not associate all the badness you have seen done by even self proclaimed Christian religion with the Bible.
To help you understand what the Bible really teaches, we offer this modern English translation of the Bible Book of Mark. This translation is also freely available on the internet at justbibletruth.com. [justbibletruth.com/biblemark.html]
We want to help everyone realize how simple it is to understand for yourself what the Bible really teaches. When you pick up the Bible, it is a little overwhelming being made up of 66 books totaling several hundreds of pages. Do not be overwhelmed! The first 39 books of the Bible are referred to as the Hebrew Scriptures and exist in large measure to introduce a coming Messiah, who is introduced therein at Genesis 3:15. Those 39 books both prophecy about the coming Messiah, and help explain our need for him. Then, you have the four Gospel accounts in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are four parallel accounts of the appearance of Christ Jesus, as one presenting himself as the Jewish Messiah of Hebrew Scripture promise. In most Bibles, the four Gospels total only a little over 100 pages combined. The Bible books that follow the Gospel accounts, 23 of them, are mostly the accounts of the early Christians as they tried to apply the teachings of Jesus (from the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) in their own lives. Those four short books thus comprise the whole of what Jesus Christ taught while he walked the earth. Since the four Gospels are parallel accounts of Jesus life and ministry, any one of them give you a good overview of Jesus's teachings. Do you start to see how really simple it is to understand the Bible?
To that end we present this modern English translation of the Bible book of Mark, along with some brief narration. The narration is in a different color, and can be skipped as desired. We include it so as to shed some light on the who, what, when and where of the facts being conveyed by John Mark in his Gospel account. His readers would have had that background material.
