These scriptures help us realize Bible support for having hope in the thousand year reign of Christ, and to understand it's purpose: The thousand year reign of Christ is to undo the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8b)

Acts 2:32-36 NWT
32 This Jesus God resurrected, of which fact we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out this which you see and hear. 34 Actually David did not ascend to the heavens, but he himself says, 'Jehovah said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand, 35 until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet."' 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know for a certainty that God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you impaled."
Revelation 19:11-13 NWT
11 And I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness. 12 His eyes are a fiery flame, and upon his head are many diadems. He has a name written that no one knows but he himself, 13 and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God.
Psalm 110:1-2 NWT
110 The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is: "Sit at my right hand Until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet." 2 The rod of your strength Jehovah will send out of Zion, [saying:] "Go subduing in the midst of your enemies."
Matthew 25:31-33 NWT
31 "When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 And he will put the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left."
Revelation 20:1-4 NWT
20 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while. 4 And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:7-9 NWT
7 Now as soon as the thousand years have been ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison, 8 and he will go out to mislead those nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war. The number of these is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they advanced over the breadth of the earth and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city. But fire came down out of heaven and devoured them.

This scripture provides a summation of the above:
1 Corinthians 15:20-28 NWT
20 However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep [in death]. 21 For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man. 22 For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each one in his own rank: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence. 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. 27 For [God] "subjected all things under his feet." But when he says that 'all things have been subjected,' it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.

Please note: At the end of the thousand year reign, Christ returns the kingdom to his God and Father, "that God may be all things to everyone." Christ will be our king forever, but all will recognize and appreciate Jesus's free will submission to his Father. We will all imitate the Christ in full submission to our Heavenly Father. No one will ever again disobey our Father, and so cause harm in our Creation. Christ thus stands as the eternal witness, in stark contrast to the wick son of God who rebelled to become satan; and by doing so caused so much harm. Satan said God was bad, but our Father didn't lift a finger against him. He rather allowed his faithful son to pass judgment against our enemy, thus proving eternally that God's rulership is righteous. If there had been any merit to anything satan ever said, Christ would not have brought satan to nothing. We speak prophetically in the past tense, but satan has not yet been destroyed. It is however, as good as done! We are likely in [or nearing the start of] the thousand year reign of the Christ. We are being judged and marked for preservation of life, (Ezekiel 9:3-4) based on our love for God and neighbor. These seem the most exciting times to be alive in all mankind's history. You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation
