1 Corinthians 7:39-40 GNB (39) A married woman is not free as long as her husband lives; but if her husband dies, then she is free to be married to any man she wishes, but only if he is a Christian. (40) She will be happier, however, if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I too have God's Spirit.

1 Corinthians 7:39-40 GW (39) A married woman must remain with her husband as long as he lives. If her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but only if the man is a Christian. (40) However, she will be more blessed if she stays as she is. That is my opinion, and I think that I, too, have God's Spirit.

1 Corinthians 7:39-40 LITV (39) A wife is bound by law for as long a time as her husband lives; but if her husband sleeps, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord. (40) But she is happier if she remains so, according to my judgment. And I think I also have the Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians 7:39-40 BBE (39) It is right for a wife to be with her husband as long as he is living; but when her husband is dead, she is free to be married to another; but only to a Christian. (40) But it will be better for her to keep as she is, in my opinion: and it seems to me that I have the Spirit of God.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
