2 Corinthians 1:3-4 GNB (3) Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God from whom all help comes! (4) He helps us in all our troubles, so that we are able to help others who have all kinds of troubles, using the same help that we ourselves have received from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ESV (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, (4) who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 LITV (3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassions and God of all comfort, (4) the One comforting us on all our affliction, for us to be able to comfort those in every affliction, through the comfort by which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 GW Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He is the Father who is compassionate and the God who gives comfort. (4) He comforts us whenever we suffer. That is why whenever other people suffer, we are able to comfort them by using the same comfort we have received from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 CEV (3) Praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! The Father is a merciful God, who always gives us comfort. (4) He comforts us when we are in trouble, so that we can share that same comfort with others in trouble.
