2 Corinthians 3:4-18 MWT (4) We say this because we have confidence in God through Christ. (5) There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God; (6) it is he who made us capable of serving the new covenant, (John 13:34-35) which consists not of a written law but of the Spirit. (John 6:63) The written law brings death, but the Spirit gives life. (7) The Law was carved in letters on stone tablets, and God's glory appeared when it was given. (Exo 34:34) Even though the brightness on Moses' face was fading, it was so strong that the people of Israel could not keep their eyes fixed on him. If the Law, which brings death when it is in force, came with such glory, (8) how much greater is the glory that belongs to the activity of the Spirit! (John 6:63) (9) The Law Code which brings condemnation was glorious; how much more glorious is the activity which brings salvation! (10) We may say that because of the far brighter glory that is now, the glory that was so bright in the past is gone. (11) For if there was glory in that which lasted for a while, how much more glory is there in that which lasts forever! (12) Because we have this hope, we are very bold. (13) We are not like Moses, who had to put a veil over his face so that the people of Israel would not see the brightness fade and disappear. (14) Their minds, indeed, were closed; and to this very day their minds are covered with the same veil as they read the books of the old covenant. The veil is removed only when a person is joined to Christ. (15) But down to this day, when the Law of Moses is read aloud [in their synagogue], a veil lies on their heart. (16) But whenever a person turns to the Lord Jesus Christ, the veil is taken away. (Ex. 34:34 ; John 6:44) (17) Now is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of is, there is liberty. (John 6:63) (18) All of us, then, reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus with uncovered faces; and that same glory, coming from the Lord , who is the Spirit, transforms us into his likeness in an ever greater degree of glory.

2 Corinthians 3:4-18 ALT (4) And such confidence [or, trust] we have by means of Christ toward God. (5) Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to consider anything as [coming] from ourselves, but our sufficiency [is] from God, (6) who also made us sufficient [or, capable] [to be] servants of a new covenant, not of letter (of law) but of spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit makes alive [or, gives life]. (7) Now if the ministry of death, having been engraved in letters in stones, came in glory, with the result that the sons [and daughters] of Israel were not able to look intently upon the face of Moses, (Exo 34:34) because of the glory of his face, the [glory which was] passing away, (8) how will the ministry of the Spirit (John 6:63) not be more in glory [or, be more glorious]? (9) For if the ministry of condemnation [had] glory, by much more the ministry of righteousness abounds [or, excels] in glory. (10) For even the [thing] having been glorified has not been glorified, in this respect, because of the surpassing glory [fig., the glory which is superior to it]. (11) For if the [thing] passing away [was] with glory, by much more the [thing] remaining [is] in glory [or, is glorious]. (12) Having therefore such a hope [or, confident expectation], we use great boldness in [our] speech, (13) and [are] not like Moses, [who] was putting a veil on his own face, so that the sons [and daughters] of Israel [could] not look intently at the end of the [glory which was] passing away. (14) But their minds were hardened [fig., were made stubborn], for until this day the same veil remains not having been unveiled [fig., remains unlifted] during the reading aloud of the Old Covenant, which in Christ passes away [fig., is removed]. (15) _But_ until today, when Moses is read aloud [in their synagogue], a veil lies on their heart. (16) But whenever [a person] turns to [the] Lord, the veil is taken away. (Ex. 34:34 ; John 6:44) (17) Now the Lord   () is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of [the] Lord  () [is], there [is] liberty. (John 6:63) (18) But we all, with a face having been unveiled, ourselves beholding as in a mirror [fig., contemplating] the glory of the Lord, are being transformed to the same image, from glory to glory, just as by [the] Spirit of [the] Lord.

2 Corinthians 3:4-18 NWT 4 Now through the Christ we have this sort of confidence toward God. 5 Not that we of ourselves are adequately qualified to reckon anything as issuing from ourselves, but our being adequately qualified issues from God, 6 who has indeed adequately qualified us to be ministers of a new covenant, not of a written code, but of spirit; for the written code condemns to death, but the spirit makes alive. (John 6:63) 7 Moreover, if the code which administers death and which was engraved in letters in stones came about in a glory, so that the sons of Israel could not gaze intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, [a glory] that was to be done away with, 8 why should not the administering of the spirit be much more with glory? 9 For if the code administering condemnation was glorious, much more does the administering of righteousness abound with glory. 10 In fact, even that which has once been made glorious has been stripped of glory in this respect, because of the glory that excels it. 11 For if that which was to be done away with was brought in with glory, much more would that which remains be with glory. 12 Therefore, as we have such a hope, we are using great freeness of speech, 13 and not doing as when Moses would put a veil upon his face, that the sons of Israel might not gaze intently at the end of that which was to be done away with. 14 But their mental powers were dulled. For to this present day the same veil remains unlifted at the reading of the old covenant, because it is done away with by means of Christ. 15 In fact, down till today whenever Moses is read, a veil lies upon their hearts. 16 But when there is a turning to (2 Corinthians 3:18) 18 And all of us, while we with unveiled faces reflect like mirrors the glory of Jehovah, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, exactly as done by Jehovah [the] Spirit. , the veil is taken away. (Ex. 34:34 ; John 6:44) 17 Now Jehovah is the Spirit; and where the spirit of Jehovah () is, there is freedom. (John 6:63) 18 And all of us, while we with unveiled faces reflect like mirrors the glory of Jehovah, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, exactly as done by Jehovah  ( יהוה ) [the] Spirit.

2 Corinthians 3:4-18 LITV (4) And we have such confidence through Christ toward God; (5) not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reason out anything as being out of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, (6) who also made us able ministers of a new covenant, not of letter, but of Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive. (John 6:63) (7) But if the ministry of death having been engraved in letters in stone was with glory, so as that the sons of Israel could not gaze into "the face of Moses" because of the glory of his face, which was to cease, (Ex. 34:34) (8) how much rather the ministry of the Spirit will be in glory! (9) For if the ministry of condemnation was glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory. (10) For even that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, because of the surpassing glory. (11) For if the thing done away was through glory, much rather the thing remaining is in glory. (12) Then having such hope, we use much boldness. (13) And not as "Moses, who put a veil over his face," for the sons of Israel not to gaze at the end of the thing being done away. Ex. 34:35 (14) But their thoughts were hardened, for until the present time the same veil remains on the reading of the Old Covenant, not being unveiled, that it is being done away in Christ. (15) But until today, when Moses is being read, a veil lies on their heart. (16) But whenever it turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (Ex. 34:34 ; John 6:44) (17) And the Lord () is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord () is, there is freedom. (John 6:63) (18) But we all with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord Spirit.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
