Colossians 4:2-6 MWT
2 Be persisting in prayer, remaining awake in it with thanksgiving, 3 at the same time praying also for us, that God may open a door of utterance to us, to speak the sacred secret about the Christ, for which, in fact, I am in prison bonds; 4 so that I shall make it clearly heard as I ought to speak. 5 Go on walking in wisdom toward those on the outside, buying out the opportune time for yourselves. 6 Let your utterance be always with graciousness, seasoned with salt, so as to know how you ought to give an answer to each one.

(2) Never give up praying. And when you pray, keep alert and be thankful.
(3) Be sure to pray that God will make a way for us to spread his message and explain the mystery about Christ, even though I am in jail for doing this.
(4) Please pray that I will make the message as clear as possible.
(5) When you are with unbelievers, always make good use of the time.
(6) Be pleasant and hold their interest when you speak the message. Choose your words carefully and be ready to give answers to anyone who asks questions.

(3) And making prayer for us, that God may give us an open door for the preaching of the word, the secret of Christ, for which I am now in chains;
(4) So that I may make it clear, as it is right for me to do.
(5) Be wise in your behaviour to those who are outside, making good use of the time.
(6) Let your talk be with grace, mixed with salt, so that you may be able to give an answer to everyone.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us.
