Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 GW (11) When a sentence against a crime isn't carried out quickly, (wicked) people are encouraged to commit crimes. (12) A sinner may commit a hundred crimes and yet live a long life. Still, I know with certainty that it will go well for those who fear God, because they fear him. (13) But it will not go well for the wicked. They will not live any longer. Their lives are like shadows, because they don't fear God. (Ps 37:29)

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 ESV (11) Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil. (12) Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and prolongs his life, yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God, because they fear before him. (13) But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God. (Ps 37:29)

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 LITV (11) Where sentence on an evil work is not executed speedily, on account of this the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (12) Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged to him, yet surely I know that it shall be well to those who fear God, who fear before Him. (13) But it shall not be well for the wicked; and he shall not lengthen his days like a shadow, because he does not fear before God. (Ps 37:29)

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 MKJV (11) Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. (12) Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days be made longer, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. (13) But it shall not be well with the wicked, nor shall he make his days longer like a shadow; because he does not fear before God. (Ps 37:29)

Ecclesiastes 8:11-13 GNB (11) Why do people commit crimes so readily? Because crime is not punished quickly enough. (12) A sinner may commit a hundred crimes and still live. Oh yes, I know what they say: "If you obey God, everything will be all right, (13) but it will not go well for the wicked. Their life is like a shadow and they will die young, because they do not obey God." (Ps 37:29)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
