Ephesians 5:1-2 NWT
. . .Therefore, become imitators of God, as beloved children, 2 and go on walking in love, just as the Christ also loved you and delivered himself up for you as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling odor.

(1) Let it then be your desire to be like God, as well-loved children; (2) And be living in love, even as Christ had love for you, and gave himself up for us, an offering to God for a perfume of a sweet smell.

(1) Do as God does. After all, you are his dear children. (2) Let love be your guide. Christ loved us and offered his life for us as a sacrifice that pleases God.
