Galatians 3:7-14 MWT
7 Surely you understand that those who are justified by faith are the ones who are children of Abraham. 8 Now the Holy Writings, seeing before it happened that God would declare people of the nations righteous by means of their faith, declared the good news beforehand to Abraham, saying: "Through you God will bless all the nations of the earth." [Gen. 12:3] 9 Consequently, those who are justified by their faith are being blessed together with faithful Abraham. 10 For all those who are trying to be righteous by works of law are under a curse; for it is written: "Cursed is every one that does not keep every single thing written in the scroll of the Law, in order to do them." [Deut. 27:26] 11 Moreover, that no one can please God by obedience to Law is evident, because those Hebrew Scriptures also say: "The righteous one will live by reason of faith." [Hab. 2:4] 12 Now obedience to Law is not a matter of faith, but "it promises life only to people who keep the whole Law." [Lev. 18:5] (No imperfect person can keep the law!) 13 Christ rescued us from the curse of the Law, when he became a curse in our place, because it is written: "Accursed is every man nailed to a tree." [Deut. 21:23] 14 And because of what Jesus Christ has done, the blessings promised Abraham come to be through Jesus Christ for the nations, and so we might receive the promised spirit through our faith. (Gal 3:29)

(12) But the Law is not of faith, but, "The man doing these things shall live in them." [Lev. 18:5]
(13) Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" [Deut. 21:23]

(7) And so, you should understand that everyone who has faith is a child of Abraham.
(8) Long ago the Scriptures said that God would accept the Gentiles because of their faith. That's why God told Abraham the good news that all nations would be blessed because of him. [Gen. 12:3]
(9) This means that everyone who has faith will share in the blessings that were given to Abraham because of his faith.
(10) Anyone who tries to please God by obeying the Law is under a curse. The Scriptures say, "Everyone who doesn't obey everything in the Law is under a curse." [Deut. 27:26]
(11) No one can please God by obeying the Law. The Scriptures also say, "The people God accepts because of their faith will live." [Hab. 2:4]
(12) The Law isn't based on faith. It promises life only to people who obey its commands. [Lev. 18:5]
(13) But Christ rescued us from the Law's curse, when he became a curse in our place. This is because the Scriptures say that anyone who is nailed to a tree is under a curse. [Deut. 21:23]
(14) And because of what Jesus Christ has done, the blessing that was promised to Abraham was taken to the Gentiles. This happened so that by faith we would be given the promised Holy Spirit. (Gal 3:29)
