Hebrews 10:37-39 ISV For "in a very little while the one who is coming will return and will not delay; (38) but my righteous one will live by faith, and if he turns back, my soul will take no pleasure in him." (39) Now, we do not belong to those who turn back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved (preserved alive).
(Consider also: Mat 24:37 NWT For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be; and 1 Peter 3:20 NWT . . .when the patience of God was waiting in Noah’s days, while the ark was being constructed, in which a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.)

Hebrews 10:37-39 CEV As the Scriptures say, "God is coming soon! It won't be very long. (38) The people God accepts will live because of their faith. But he isn't pleased with anyone who turns back." (39) We are not like those people who turn back and get destroyed. We will keep on having faith until we are saved.
(Consider also: Mat 24:37 and 1 Pet 3:20.)

Hebrews 10:37-39 GW "Yet, the one who is coming will come soon. He will not delay. (38) The person who has God's approval will live by faith. But if he turns back, I will not be pleased with him." (39) We don't belong with those who turn back and are destroyed. Instead, we belong with those who have faith and are saved.
(Consider also: Mat 24:37 and 1 Pet 3:20.)

Hebrews 10:37-39 GNB For, as the scripture says, "Just a little while longer, and he who is coming will come; he will not delay. (38) My righteous people, however, will believe and live; but if any of them turns back, I will not be pleased with them." (39) We are not people who turn back and are lost. Instead, we have faith and are saved.
(Consider also: Mat 24:37 and 1 Pet 3:20.)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
