Isaiah 35:1-10 GNB The desert will rejoice, and flowers will bloom in the wastelands. (2) The desert will sing and shout for joy; it will be as beautiful as the Lebanon Mountains and as fertile as the fields of Carmel and Sharon. Everyone will see the LORD's  (  יהוה  )  splendor, see his greatness and power. (3) Give strength to hands that are tired and to knees that tremble with weakness. (4) Tell everyone who is discouraged, "Be strong and don't be afraid! God is coming to your rescue, coming to punish your enemies." (5) The blind will be able to see, and the deaf will hear. (6) The lame will leap and dance, and those who cannot speak will shout for joy. Streams of water will flow through the desert; (7) the burning sand will become a lake, and dry land will be filled with springs. Where jackals used to live, marsh grass and reeds will grow. (8) There will be a highway there, called "The Road of Holiness." No sinner will ever travel that road; no fools will mislead those who follow it. (9) No lions will be there; no fierce animals will pass that way. Those whom the LORD  (  יהוה  )  has rescued will travel home by that road. (10) They will reach Jerusalem with gladness, singing and shouting for joy. They will be happy forever, forever free from sorrow and grief.

Isaiah 35:1-10 GW The desert and the dry land will be glad, and the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. (2) Like a lily the land will blossom. It will rejoice and sing with joy. It will have the glory of Lebanon, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. Everyone will see the glory of the LORD  (  יהוה  ) , the majesty of our God. (3) Strengthen limp hands. Steady weak knees. (4) Tell those who are terrified, "Be brave; don't be afraid. Your God will come with vengeance, with divine revenge. He will come and rescue you." (5) Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unplugged. (6) Then those who are lame will leap like deer, and those who cannot speak will shout for joy. Water will gush out into the desert, and streams will gush out into the wilderness. (7) Then the hot sand will become a pool, and dry ground will have springs. Grass will become cattails and rushes in the home of jackals. (8) A highway will be there, a roadway. It will be called the Holy Road. Sinners won't travel on it. It will be for those who walk on it. Godless fools won't wander onto it. (9) Lions won't be there. Wild animals won't go on it. They won't be found there. But the people reclaimed by the LORD  (  יהוה  )  will walk on it. (10) The people ransomed by the LORD  (  יהוה  )  will return. They will come to Zion singing with joy. Everlasting happiness will be on their heads as a crown. They will be glad and joyful. They will have no sorrow or grief.

Isaiah 35:1-10 CEV Thirsty deserts will be glad; barren lands will celebrate and blossom with flowers. (2) Deserts will bloom everywhere and sing joyful songs. They will be as majestic as Mount Lebanon, as glorious as Mount Carmel or Sharon Valley. Everyone will see the wonderful splendor of the LORD  (  יהוה  )  our God. * (3) Here is a message for all who are weak, trembling, and worried: (4) "Cheer up! Don't be afraid. Your God is coming to punish your enemies. God will take revenge on them and rescue you." (5) The blind will see, and the ears of the deaf will be healed. (6) Those who were lame will leap around like deer; tongues once silent will begin to shout. Water will rush through the desert. (7) Scorching sand will turn into a lake, and thirsty ground will flow with fountains. Grass will grow in wetlands, where packs of wild dogs once made their home. (8) A good road will be there, and it will be named "God's Sacred Highway." It will be for God's people; no one unfit to worship God will walk on that road. And no fools can travel on that highway. (9) No lions or other wild animals will come near that road; only those the LORD  (  יהוה  )  has saved will travel there. (10) The people the LORD  (  יהוה  )  has rescued will come back singing as they enter Zion. Happiness will be a crown they will always wear. They will celebrate and shout because all sorrows and worries will be gone far away.

Isaiah 35:1-10 ESV The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; (2) it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD  (  יהוה  ) , the majesty of our God. (3) Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. (4) Say to those who have an anxious heart, "Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you." (5) Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; (6) then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; (7) the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes. (8) And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray. (9) No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there. (10) And the ransomed of the LORD  (  יהוה  )  shall return and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Isaiah 35:1-10 LITV The wilderness and dry land shall rejoice for them; and the desert shall exult and bloom like the crocus. (2) Blooming, it shall bloom and exult, even with joy and singing. Lebanon's glory shall be given to it, the honor of Carmel and Sharon; they shall see the glory of Jehovah  ( יהוה ) , the majesty of our God. (3) Make the weak hands strong, and firm up the stumbling knees. (4) Say to those of a hasty heart, Be strong! Do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the full dealing of God, He will come and save you. (5) Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf opened. (6) Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. For waters shall break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. (7) And the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty land shall become springs of waters, in the home of jackals, in its lair, and a place for the reed and rush. (8) And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called, The Way of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it. And it is for them, the one going in the way; yea, fools shall not go astray. (9) No lion shall be there; and no violent beast shall go up on it; it shall not be found there. But redeemed ones shall walk there. (10) And the ransomed of Jehovah  ( יהוה )  shall return and enter Zion, with singing and everlasting joy on their head; gladness and joy shall reach them; and sorrow and sighing shall flee.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
