James 1:25 NWT 25 But he who peers into the perfect law that belongs to freedom and who persists in [it], this [man], because he has become, not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, will be happy in his doing [it].

James 1:25 ALT But the one having looked into [the] perfect law, the [ law] of liberty, and having continued [in it], this one—not having become a forgetful hearer but a doer of work—this one will be happy in his doing.

James 1:25 CEV But you must never stop looking at the perfect law that sets you free. God will bless you in everything you do, if you listen and obey, and don't just hear and forget.

James 1:25 GW However, the person who continues to study God's perfect teachings that make people free and who remains committed to them will be blessed. People like that don't merely listen and forget; they actually do what God's teachings say.
