Job 14:13-17 GNB I wish you would hide me in the world of the dead; let me be hidden until your anger is over, and then set a time to remember me. (14) If a man dies, can he come back to life? But I will wait for better times, wait till this time of trouble is ended. (15) Then you will call, and I will answer, and you will be pleased with me, your creature. (16) Then you will watch every step I take, but you will not keep track of my sins. (17) You will forgive them and put them away; you will wipe out all the wrongs I have done.

Job 14:13-17 ESV Oh that you would hide me in Sheol (carries the thought of the common grave of mankind), that you would conceal me until your wrath be past, that you would appoint me a set time, and remember me! (14) If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my service I would wait, till my renewal should come. (15) You would call, and I would answer you; you would long for the work of your hands. (16) For then you would number my steps; you would not keep watch over my sin; (17) my transgression would be sealed up in a bag, and you would cover over my iniquity.

Job 14:13-17 MKJV Who will grant that You would hide me in the grave, that You would keep me secret, until Your wrath is past, that You would set me a fixed time and remember me? (14) If a man die, shall he revive? All the days of my warfare I will wait, until my change comes. (15) You shall call, and I will answer You; You shall have a desire to the work of Your hands. (16) For now You number my steps; do You not watch over my sin? (17) My transgression is sealed up in a bag, and You cover over my iniquity.

Job 14:13-17 GW I wish you would hide me in Sheol (carries the thought of the common grave of mankind) and keep me hidden there until your anger cools. Set a specific time for me when you will remember me. (14) "If a person dies, will he go on living? I will wait for my relief to come as long as my hard labor continues. (15) You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the person your hands have made. (16) Though now you count my steps, you will not keep a record of my sins. (17) My disobedience will be closed up in a bag, and you will cover over my sins.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
