John 14:15-21 MWT (15) “If YOU love me, YOU will observe my commandments; (16) and I will request the Father and he will give YOU another helper to be with YOU forever, (17) the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive, because it neither beholds it nor knows it. (John 8:43-45) YOU know it, because it remains with YOU and is in YOU. [This spirit of truth is a heartfelt desire to seek and know the truth. It is based in a realization that truth is found only in the words of Jesus Christ. (John 18:37b)] (18) I shall not leave YOU without hope. I am coming to YOU. (19) A little longer and the world will no longer see me, but YOU will know me, because I live and YOU will live. (20) In that day YOU will know that I am in union with my Father and YOU are in union with me and I am in union with YOU. (21) He that listens to my commandments and observes them, that is the one who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will plainly show myself to him.” [As sincere hearted people do God's will by sitting at Jesus's feet and reading his words from the Gospels, (Mark 3:31-35) Jesus plainly reveals himself to them.]

John 14:15-21 GW "If you love me, you will obey my commandments. (16) I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. (17) That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn't see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you. (18) "I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you. (19) In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. You will live because I live [because of faith in Christ]. (20) On that day you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me and that I am in you. (21) Whoever knows and obeys my commandments is the person who loves me. Those who love me will have my Father's love, and I, too, will love them and show myself to them."

John 14:15-21 ESV "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (16) And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, (17) even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (18) "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (19) Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. (20) In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. (21) Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him."

John 14:15-21 LITV If you love Me, keep My commandments. (16) And I will petition the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may remain with you to the age, (17) the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He abides with you and shall be in you. (18) I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you. (19) Yet a little while and the world no longer sees Me, but you see Me. Because I live, you also shall live. (20) In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you. (21) He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is that one who loves Me; and the one that loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and will reveal Myself to him.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
