John 15:26-27 CEV I will send you the Spirit who comes from the Father and shows what is true. The Spirit will help you and will tell you about me. (27) Then you will also tell others about me, because you have been with me from the beginning.
Jesus said in verse 27 his true followers would also tell others what they learned from him. One way you can do that is by sharing JustBibleTruth.com with everyone you know. Always finalize any such conversation by trying to help everyone understand: The whole of the Bible exists as a tutor leading to Christ. (Gal 3:23-26) Once people recognize that simple fact, they should have knowledge to focus their attention on the actual teachings of Christ as recorded in the four short Gospel Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

John 15:26-27 ALT (26) "But when the Counselor [or, Helper] comes, whom _I_ will send to you* from the Father, the Spirit of the truth, who proceeds from the Father, that One will testify concerning Me. (27) "And you* also testify [or, be testifying], because you* are with Me from the beginning.

John 15:26-27 NWT 26 When the helper arrives that I will send you from the Father, the spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, that one will bear witness about me; 27 and you, in turn, are to bear witness, because you have been with me from when I began.

John 15:26-27 GNB (26) "The Helper will come---the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will speak about me. (27) And you, too, will speak about me, because you have been with me from the very beginning.

           Jesus was here speaking to persons who already had the gift of holy spirit to raise the dead and heal the sick. He was making clear the holy spirit he would send would impact them [and others] in a new and different way. The spirit of truth would help them remember and apply what Jesus had taught them. That is the gift of holy spirit which remains for our day. (John 14:15-16)
