John 3:13-17 NWT
13 Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man. 14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so the Son of man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone believing in him may have everlasting life. 16 "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him.

John 3:13-17 ALT
(13) "And no one has ascended into heaven, except the One having descended from heaven-the Son of Humanity, the One being in heaven. (14) "And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so it is necessary [for] the Son of Humanity to be lifted up, (15) so that every [one] believing [or, trusting] in Him shall not perish, _but_ shall be having eternal life. (16) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten [or, unique] Son, so that every [one] believing [or, trusting] in Him shall not perish, _but_ shall be having eternal life! (17) "For God did not send His Son into the world so that He should judge the world, _but_ so that the world shall be saved through Him.

John 3:13-17 GNB
(13) And no one has ever gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from heaven." (14) As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the desert, in the same way the Son of Man must be lifted up, (15) so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. (16) For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version

YLT - Young's Literal Translation
