John 3:18-19 ESV Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. (19) And this is the (basis of) judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

John 3:18-19 GNB Those who believe in the Son are not judged; but those who do not believe have already been judged, because they have not believed in God's only Son. (19) This is how the judgment works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil.

John 3:18-19 ALT "The one believing [or, trusting] in Him is not judged, but the one not believing already has been judged, because he has not believed in the Name of the only-begotten [or, unique] Son of God. (19) "Now this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their works were evil.

John 3:18-19 GW Those who believe in him won't be condemned. But those who don't believe are already condemned because they don't believe in God's only Son. (19) This is why people are condemned: The light came into the world. Yet, people loved the dark rather than the light because their actions were evil.

John 3:18-19 CEV No one who has faith in God's Son will be condemned. But everyone who doesn't have faith in him has already been condemned for not having faith in God's only Son. (19) The light has come into the world, and people who do evil things are judged guilty because they love the dark more than the light.

John 3:18-19 BBE The man who has faith in him does not come up to be judged; but he who has no faith in him has been judged even now, because he has no faith in the name of the only Son of God. (19) And this is the test by which men are judged: the light has come into the world and men have more love for the dark than for the light, because their acts are evil.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
