John 5:37-38 ESV And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. (Luke 9:35; Mark 1:11) His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen, (38) and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.

John 5:37-38 LITV And the Father, the One sending Me, has Himself borne witness concerning Me. (Luke 9:35; Mark 1:11) You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor have you seen His form. (38) And you do not have His Word abiding in you, for the One whom that One sent, this One you do not believe.

John 5:37-38 CEV The Father who sent me also speaks for me, (Luke 9:35; Mark 1:11) but you have never heard his voice or seen him face to face. (38) You have not believed his message, because you refused to have faith in the one he sent.

John 5:37-38 GNB And the Father, who sent me, also testifies on my behalf. (Luke 9:35; Mark 1:11) You have never heard his voice or seen his face, (38) and you do not keep his message in your hearts, for you do not believe in the one whom he sent.

John 5:37-38 GW The Father who sent me testifies on my behalf. (Luke 9:35; Mark 1:11) You have never heard his voice, and you have never seen his form. (38) So you don't have the Father's message within you, because you don't believe in the person he has sent.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
