John 6:45-59 GNB The prophets wrote, 'Everyone will be taught by God.' Anyone who hears the Father and learns from him comes to me. (46) This does not mean that anyone has seen the Father; he who is from God is the only one who has seen the Father. (47) I am telling you the truth: he who believes has eternal life. (48) I am the bread of life. (49) Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died. (50) But the bread that comes down from heaven is of such a kind that whoever eats it will not die. (51) I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If you eat this bread, you will live forever. The bread that I will give you is my flesh, which I give so that the world may live." (52) This started an angry argument among them. "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" they asked. (53) Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: if you do not eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have life in yourselves. (54) Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them to life on the last day. (55) For my flesh is the real food; my blood is the real drink. (56) Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood live in me, and I live in them. (57) The living Father sent me, and because of him I live also. In the same way whoever eats me will live because of me. (58) This, then, is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the bread that your ancestors ate, but then later died. Those who eat this bread will live forever." (59) Jesus said this as he taught in the synagogue in Capernaum.
John 6:66-68 GNB Because of this, many of Jesus' followers turned back and would not go with him any more. (67) So he asked the twelve disciples, "And you---would you also like to leave?" (68) Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words that give eternal life.

John 6:45-59 CEV One of the prophets wrote, "God will teach all of them." And so everyone who listens to the Father and learns from him will come to me. (46) The only one who has seen the Father is the one who has come from him. No one else has ever seen the Father. (47) I tell you for certain that everyone who has faith in me has eternal life. (48) I am the bread that gives life! (49) Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, and later they died. (50) But the bread from heaven has come down, so that no one who eats it will ever die. (51) I am that bread from heaven! Everyone who eats it will live forever. My flesh is the life-giving bread that I give to the people of this world. (52) They started arguing with each other and asked, "How can he give us his flesh to eat?" (53) Jesus answered: I tell you for certain that you won't live unless you eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of Man. (54) But if you do eat my flesh and drink my blood, you will have eternal life, and I will raise you to life on the last day. (55) My flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink. (56) If you eat my flesh and drink my blood, you are one with me, and I am one with you. (57) The living Father sent me, and I have life because of him. Now everyone who eats my flesh will live because of me. (58) The bread that comes down from heaven isn't like what your ancestors ate. They died, but whoever eats this bread will live forever. (59) Jesus was teaching in a Jewish place of worship in Capernaum when he said these things.
John 6:66-68 CEV Because of what Jesus said, many of his disciples turned their backs on him and stopped following him. (67) Jesus then asked his twelve disciples if they were going to leave him. (68) Simon Peter answered, "Lord, there is no one else that we can go to! Your words give eternal life.

John 6:45-59 BBE The writings of the prophets say, And they will all have teaching from God. Everyone whose ears have been open to the teaching of the Father comes to me. (46) Not that anyone has ever seen the Father; only he who is from God, he has seen the Father. (47) Truly I say to you, He who has faith in me has eternal life. (48) I am the bread of life. (49) Your fathers took the manna in the waste land--and they are dead. (50) The bread which comes from heaven is such bread that a man may take it for food and never see death. (51) I am the living bread which has come from heaven: if any man takes this bread for food he will have life for ever: and more than this, the bread which I will give is my flesh which I will give for the life of the world. (52) Then the Jews had an angry discussion among themselves, saying, How is it possible for this man to give us his flesh for food? (53) Then Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, If you do not take the flesh of the Son of man for food, and if you do not take his blood for drink, you have no life in you. (54) He who takes my flesh for food and my blood for drink has eternal life: and I will take him up from the dead at the last day. (55) My flesh is true food and my blood is true drink. (56) He who takes my flesh for food and my blood for drink is in me and I in him. (57) As the living Father has sent me, and I have life because of the Father, even so he who takes me for his food will have life because of me. (58) This is the bread which has come down from heaven. It is not like the food which your fathers had: they took of the manna, and are dead; but he who takes this bread for food will have life for ever. (59) Jesus said these things in the Synagogue while he was teaching at Capernaum.
John 6:66-68 BBE Because of what he said, a number of the disciples went back and would no longer go with him. (67) So Jesus said to the twelve, Have you a desire to go away? (68) Then Simon Peter gave this answer: Lord, to whom are we to go? you have the words of eternal life;

John 6:45-59 Darby It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every one that has heard from the Father himself , and has learned of him , comes to me; (46) not that any one has seen the Father, except he who is of God, he has seen the Father. (47) Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me has life eternal. (48) I am the bread of life. (49) Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and died. (50) This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. (51) I am the living bread which has come down out of heaven: if any one shall have eaten of this bread he shall live for ever; but the bread withal which I shall give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (52) The Jews therefore contended among themselves, saying, How can he give us this flesh to eat? (53) Jesus therefore said to them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of man, and drunk his blood, ye have no life in yourselves. (54) He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has life eternal, and I will raise him up at the last day: (55) for my flesh is truly food and my blood is truly drink. (56) He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I in him. (57) As the living Father has sent me and I live on account of the Father, *he* also who eats me shall live also on account of me. (58) This is the bread which has come down out of heaven. Not as the fathers ate and died: he that eats this bread shall live for ever. (59) These things he said in the synagogue, teaching in Capernaum.
John 6:66-68 Darby From that time many of his disciples went away back and walked no more with him. (67) Jesus therefore said to the twelve, Will ye also go away? (68) Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast words of life eternal;

John 6:45-59 ESV It is written in the Prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me-- (46) not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father. (47) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. (48) I am the bread of life. (49) Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. (50) This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. (51) I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh." (52) The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (53) So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. (54) Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. (55) For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. (56) Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. (57) As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. (58) This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever." (59) Jesus said these things in the synagogue, as he taught at Capernaum.
John 6:66-68 ESV After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. (67) So Jesus said to the Twelve, "Do you want to go away as well?" (68) Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life,

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
