Luke 10:17-22 GW The 70 disciples came back very happy. They said, "Lord, even demons obey us when we use the power and authority of your name!" (18) Jesus said to them, "I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning. (Satan fell from heaven in that Jesus's human followers now had authority and/or protection from his demon servants on earth.) (19) I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy's power. Nothing will hurt you. (20) However, don't be happy that evil spirits obey you. Be happy that your names are written in heaven." (21) In that hour the Holy Spirit filled Jesus with joy. Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from wise and intelligent people and revealing them to little children. Yes, Father, this is what pleased you. (22) "My Father has turned everything over to me. Only the Father knows who the Son is. And no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son is willing to reveal him."

Luke 10:17-22 GNB The seventy-two men came back in great joy. "Lord," they said, "even the demons obeyed us when we gave them a command in your name!" (18) Jesus answered them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. (Satan fell from heaven in that Jesus's human followers now had authority and/or protection from his demon servants on earth.) (19) Listen! I have given you authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the Enemy, and nothing will hurt you. (20) But don't be glad because the evil spirits obey you; rather be glad because your names are written in heaven." (21) At that time Jesus was filled with joy by the Holy Spirit and said, "Father, Lord of heaven and earth! I thank you because you have shown to the unlearned what you have hidden from the wise and learned. Yes, Father, this was how you were pleased to have it happen. (22) "My Father has given me all things. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

Luke 10:17-22 Webster And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name. (18) And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. (Satan fell from heaven in that Jesus's human followers now had authority and/or protection from his demon servants on earth.) (19) Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (20) Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. (21) In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. (22) All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Luke 10:17-22 NWT 17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying: “Lord, even the demons are made subject to us by the use of your name.” 18 At that he said to them: “I began to behold Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven. (Satan fell from heaven in that Jesus's human followers now had authority and/or protection from his demon servants on earth.) 19 Look! I have given YOU the authority to trample underfoot serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will by any means do YOU hurt. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice over this, that the spirits are made subject to YOU, but rejoice because YOUR names have been inscribed in the heavens.” 21 In that very hour he became overjoyed in the holy spirit and said: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have carefully hidden these things from wise and intellectual ones, and have revealed them to babes. Yes, O Father, because to do thus came to be the way approved by you. 22 All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and who the Son is no one knows but the Father; and who the Father is, no one [knows] but the Son, and he to whom the Son is willing to reveal him.”

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
