Mark 11:22-24 ESV And Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God. (23) Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. (24) Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

These verses encourage faith, and tell us to expect results from having faith. It would seem logical that what we ask for must first be consistent with God's purpose and what He is already doing. Otherwise, fighters against God would be dropping mountains on their neighbors. The only way you can know what God's will is, is by listening to his son.
[Heb 1:1-2; Mat 17:5]

Mark 11:22-24 GNB Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God. (23) I assure you that whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself in the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. (24) For this reason I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.

Mark 11:22-24 LITV And answering, Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. (23) For truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be to him, whatever he says. (24) Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you will receive, and it will be to you.

Mark 11:22-24 GW Jesus said to them, "Have faith in God! (23) I can guarantee this truth: This is what will be done for someone who doesn't doubt but believes what he says will happen: He can say to this mountain, 'Be uprooted and thrown into the sea,' and it will be done for him. (24) That's why I tell you to have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:22-24 CEV Jesus told his disciples: Have faith in God! (23) If you have faith in God and don't doubt, you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will. (24) Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
