Mark 12:1-12 MWT
12 Also, he started to speak to them with illustrations: “A man planted a vineyard, and put a fence around it, and dug a vat for the winepress and erected a tower, and let it out to cultivators, and traveled abroad. [Isaiah 5:1,2] 2 Now in due season he sent forth a slave to the cultivators, that he might get some of the fruits of the vineyard from the cultivators. 3 But they took him, beat him up and sent him away empty. 4 And again he sent forth another slave to them; and that one they struck on the head and dishonored. 5 And he sent forth another, and that one they killed; and many others, some of whom they beat up and some of whom they killed. 6 One more he had, a beloved son. He sent him forth last to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 7 But those cultivators said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 8 So they took him and killed him, and threw him outside the vineyard. 9 What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the cultivators, and will give the vineyard to others. 10 Did you never read this scripture, ‘The stone that the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone. 11 From Jehovah this has come to be, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?” [Psalm 118:22,23 ; Acts 4:11]12 At that they began seeking how to seize him, but they feared the crowd, for they took note that he spoke the illustration with them in mind. So they left him and went away.

Mark 12:1-12 ALT
(1) And He began to be speaking to them in allegories: "A man 'planted a vineyard and put a fence around [it] and dug a trough [or, trench for gathering juice under the wine press] and built a lookout tower,' and he leased it to vineyard keepers and went on a journey. [Isaiah 5:1,2] (2) "Then he sent a slave to the vineyard keepers at the [harvest] time, so that from the vineyard keepers he should receive from the fruit of the vineyard. (3) "But they, having taken him, repeatedly beat [him] and sent him away empty-handed. (4) "And again he sent to them another slave. And that one, having cast stones at [him], they wounded in the head and sent [him] away, having been treated shamefully. (5) "And again he sent another. And that one they killed. And many others: some repeatedly beating, but others killing. (6) "Therefore, having still one son—his beloved—he sent even him to them last, saying, 'They will respect my son.' (7) "But those vineyard keepers said to one another, 'This is the heir. Come; let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours!' (8) "Then having taken him, they killed [him], and threw [him] outside of the vineyard. (9) "Therefore, what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come, and he will destroy the vineyard keepers, and he will give the vineyard to others. (10) "Did youp not even read this Scripture, 'A stone which the builders rejected, this [stone] became [the] cornerstone. (11) 'This came to be from the LORD, and it is marvelous in our eyes?'" [Psalm 118:22,23 ; Acts 4:11] (12) Then they began seeking to take Him into custody—but they feared the crowd—for they knew that He spoke the allegory against them. And having left Him, they went away.

Mark 12:1-11 LITV
(1) And He began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard, and set a fence around it," and dug a winevat, "and built a tower." And he rented it to vinedressers and went away. [Isaiah 5:1,2] (2) And at the season, he sent a slave to the vinedressers, that he might receive from the vinedressers the fruit of the vineyard. (3) But taking him, they beat him, and sent him away empty. (4) And again he sent to them another slave; stoning that one, they struck him in the head and sent him away, insulting him. (5) And again, he sent another, and they killed that one; also many others, indeed beating these, and killing these. (6) Yet having one son, his own beloved, then he sent him to them also, last of all, saying, They will have respect for my son. (7) But these vinedressers said to themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him and the inheritance will be ours. (8) And taking him, they killed him and threw him outside the vineyard. (9) What, then, will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and will destroy the vinedressers and will give the vineyard to others. (10) Have you not even read this Scripture: The "Stone which the builders rejected, this One came to be Head of the Corner; (11) this came about from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes"? [Psalm 118:22,23 ; Acts 4:11]

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
