Mark 13:4 NWT
“Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are destined to come to a conclusion?”
Mark 13:8 NWT
. . .For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, there will be earthquakes in one place after another, there will be food shortages. These are a beginning of pangs of distress.
(Mark 13:19-20)
. . .for those days will be [days of] a tribulation such as has not occurred from [the] beginning of the creation which God created until that time, and will not occur again. 20 In fact, unless Jehovah had cut short the days, no flesh would be saved. But on account of the chosen ones whom he has chosen he has cut short the days.

Mark 13:4 GNB
"Tell us when this will be," they said, "and tell us what will happen to show that the time has come for all these things to take place."
Mark 13:8 GNB
Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be earthquakes everywhere, and there will be famines. These things are like the first pains of childbirth.
Mark 13:19-20 GNB
For the trouble of those days will be far worse than any the world has ever known from the very beginning when God created the world until the present time. Nor will there ever be anything like it again. (20) But the Lord has reduced the number of those days; if he had not, nobody would survive. For the sake of his chosen people, however, he has reduced those days.

Mark 13:4 ALT

Mark 13:8 ALT
(8) "For nation will be raised up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be earthquakes in [various] places, and there will be famines and disturbances [fig., uprisings]. These [are the] beginnings of birth pains [fig., great sufferings].
Mark 13:19-20 ALT
(19) "For [in] those days [there] will be tribulation [or, affliction], such as [there] has not been like from [the] beginning of [the] creation which God created, until now, and never at all shall be. (20) "And if [the] Lord did not cut the days short, no flesh would be saved; _but_ because of the chosen [or, the elect], whom He Himself chose, He cut the days short.

Mark 13:4 Darby
Tell us, when shall these things be, and what is the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?
Mark 13:8 Darby
(8) For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be earthquakes in different places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these things are the beginnings of throes.
Mark 13:19-20 Darby
(19) for those days shall be distress such as there has not been the like since the beginning of creation which God created, until now, and never shall be; (20) and if the Lord had not cut short those days, no flesh should have been saved; but on account of the elect whom he has chosen, he has cut short those days.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:

ALT - Analytical Literal Translation

ASV - American Standard Version (by the American revision committee in 1897).

Darby - 1889 Darby Bible

DRB - 1899 Douay-Rheims Bible

BBE - 1965 Bible in Basic English

LITV - Literal Translation of the Holy Bible

KJV - King James Version

MKJV - Modern King James Version

NWT - New World Translation

Webster - 1833 Webster Bible

RV - Revised Version
