Matthew 16:5-12 NWT 5 Now the disciples crossed to the other side and forgot to take loaves along. 6 Jesus said to them: “Keep YOUR eyes open and watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 7 So they began to reason among themselves, saying: “We did not take any loaves along.” 8 Knowing this, Jesus said: “Why are YOU doing this reasoning among yourselves, because YOU have no loaves, YOU with little faith? 9 Do YOU not yet see the point, or do YOU not remember the five loaves in the case of the five thousand and how many baskets YOU took up? 10 Or the seven loaves in the case of the four thousand and how many provision baskets YOU took up? 11 How is it YOU do not discern that I did not talk to YOU about loaves? But watch out for the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 12 Then they grasped that he said to watch out, not for the leaven of the loaves, but for the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Matthew 16:5-12 ALT And His disciples having come to the other side (of the Sea of Galilee), forgot to take loaves of bread. (6) Then Jesus said to them, "Be watching out, and be guarding against the leaven [or, yeast] of the Pharisees and Sadducees." (7) So they began reasoning within themselves, saying, "Because we took no loaves of bread." (8) But Jesus having known, said to them, "Why are you reasoning within yourselves, [you] of little faith, because you took no loaves of bread? (9) "Do you not yet understand, nor remember the five loaves of bread of the five thousand and how many hand-baskets youp took up? (10) "Nor the seven loaves of bread of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up? (11) "How do you not understand that [it was] not concerning bread I said to you to be guarding against the leaven [or, yeast] of the Pharisees and Sadducees?" (12) Then they understood that He did not say to be guarding against the leaven [or, yeast] of the bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

(6) And Jesus said to them, Watch and take heed from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. (7) And they reasoned among themselves, saying, Because we did not take loaves. (8) And knowing, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason among yourselves because you took no loaves, little-faiths (you with little faith)? (9) Do you not perceive nor recall the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand baskets you took up? (10) Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many lunch baskets you took up? (11) How do you not perceive that it was not about loaves that I said to you to take heed from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? (12) Then they knew that He did not say to take heed from the leaven of bread, but from the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

(8) Jesus knew about their conversation and asked, "Why are you discussing among yourselves that you don't have any bread? You have so little faith! (9) Don't you understand yet? Don't you remember the five loaves for the five thousand and how many baskets you filled? (10) Don't you remember the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many large baskets you filled? (11) Why don't you understand that I wasn't talking to you about bread? Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!" (8) But Jesus, aware of this, said, "O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? (9) Do you not yet perceive? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? (10) Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you gathered? (11) How is it that you fail to understand that I did not speak about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees." (8) Jesus knew what they were saying, so he asked them, "Why are you discussing among yourselves about not having any bread? What little faith you have! (9) Don't you understand yet? Don't you remember when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand men? How many baskets did you fill? (10) And what about the seven loaves for the four thousand men? How many baskets did you fill? (11) How is it that you don't understand that I was not talking to you about bread? Guard yourselves from the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees!" (12) Then the disciples understood that he was not warning them to guard themselves from the yeast used in bread but from the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
