Matthew 9:18 GW A synagogue leader came to Jesus while he was talking to John's disciples. He bowed down in front of Jesus and said, "My daughter just died. Come, lay your hand on her, and she will live."
Matthew 9:23-25 GW Jesus came to the synagogue leader's house. He saw flute players and a noisy crowd. (24) He said to them, "Leave! The girl is not dead. She's sleeping." But they laughed at him. (25) When the crowd had been put outside, Jesus went in, took her hand, and the girl came back to life.

Matthew 9:18 GNB While Jesus was saying this, a Jewish official came to him, knelt down before him, and said, "My daughter has just died; but come and place your hands on her, and she will live."
Matthew 9:23-25 GNB Then Jesus went into the official's house. When he saw the musicians for the funeral and the people all stirred up, (24) he said, "Get out, everybody! The little girl is not dead---she is only sleeping!" Then they all started making fun of him. (25) But as soon as the people had been put out, Jesus went into the girl's room and took hold of her hand, and she got up.

Matthew 9:18 CEV While Jesus was still speaking, an official came and knelt in front of him. The man said, "My daughter has just now died! Please come and place your hand on her. Then she will live again."
Matthew 9:23-25 CEV When Jesus went into the home of the official and saw the musicians and the crowd of mourners, (24) he said, "Get out of here! The little girl isn't dead. She is just asleep." Everyone started laughing at Jesus. (25) But after the crowd had been sent out of the house, Jesus went to the girl's bedside. He took her by the hand and helped her up.

Matthew 9:18 BBE While he was saying these things to them, there came a ruler and gave him worship, saying, My daughter is even now dead; but come and put your hand on her, and she will come back to life.
Matthew 9:23-25 BBE And when Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the players with their instruments and the people making a noise, (24) He said, Make room; for the girl is not dead, but sleeping. And they were laughing at him. (25) But when the people were sent out, he went in and took her by the hand; and the girl got up.
