Psalms 16:1-11 LITV
(1) A Secret Treasure of David. Watch over me, O God, for I take refuge in You. (2) Oh my soul you have said to Jehovah, You are my Lord; My goodness is nothing apart from You. (3) As for the saints in the earth, they are the excellent ones; all my delight is in them. (4) Their sorrows shall multiply if they run after another god. I will not pour out their drink offering of blood; and I will not take their names on my lips. (5) Jehovah is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup; You shall surely uphold my lot. (6) The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yea, I have a beautiful inheritance. (7) I will bless Jehovah, who counseled me. My reins also teach me in the nights. (8) I have set Jehovah always before me; for He is at my right hand: I shall not be shaken. (9) So my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my flesh shall also rest in hope. (10) For You will not leave My soul in Sheol; You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption. (11) You will make Me know the way of life. In Your presence is fullness of joys; at Your right hand are pleasures forever.

Psalm 16:superscription-11 NWT
A miktam of David.
16 Keep me, O God, for I have taken refuge in you. 2 I have said to Jehovah: "You are Jehovah; my goodness is, not for your sake, 3 [But] to the holy ones that are in the earth. They, even the majestic ones, are the ones in whom is all my delight." 4 Pains become many to those [who], when there is someone else, do hurry [after him]. I shall not pour out their drink offerings of blood, And I shall not carry their names upon my lips. 5 Jehovah is the portion of my allotted share and of my cup. You are holding fast my lot. 6 The measuring lines themselves have fallen for me in pleasant places. Really, [my own] possession has proved agreeable to me. 7 I shall bless Jehovah, who has given me advice. Really, during the nights my kidneys have corrected me. 8 I have placed Jehovah in front of me constantly. Because [he] is at my right hand, I shall not be made to totter. 9 Therefore my heart does rejoice, and my glory is inclined to be joyful. Also, my own flesh will reside in security. 10 For you will not leave my soul in Sheol. You will not allow your loyal one to see the pit. 11 You will cause me to know the path of life. Rejoicing to satisfaction is with your face; There is pleasantness at your right hand forever.

Psalms 16:1-11 ASV
(1) Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God; for in thee do I take refuge. (2) O my soul, thou hast said unto Jehovah, Thou art my Lord: I have no good beyond thee. (3) As for the saints that are in the earth, They are the excellent in whom is all my delight. (4) Their sorrows shall be multiplied that give gifts for another god: Their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, Nor take their names upon my lips. (5) Jehovah is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: Thou maintainest my lot. (6) The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; Yea, I have a goodly heritage. (7) I will bless Jehovah, who hath given me counsel; Yea, my heart instructeth me in the night seasons. (8) I have set Jehovah always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. (9) Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; My flesh also shall dwell in safety. (10) For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. (11) Thou wilt show me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; In thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalms 16:1-11 CEV
(1) (A special psalm by David.) Protect me, LORD [Jehovah] God! I run to you for safety, (2) and I have said, "Only you are my Lord! Every good thing I have is a gift from you." (3) Your people are wonderful, and they make me happy, (4) but worshipers of other gods will have much sorrow. I refuse to offer sacrifices of blood to those gods or worship in their name. (5) You, LORD [Jehovah], are all I want! You are my choice, and you keep me safe. (6) You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright. (7) I praise you, LORD [Jehovah], for being my guide. Even in the darkest night, your teachings fill my mind. (8) I will always look to you, as you stand beside me and protect me from fear. (9) With all my heart, I will celebrate, and I can safely rest. (10) I am your chosen one. You won't leave me in the grave or let my body decay. (11) You have shown me the path to life, and you make me glad by being near to me. Sitting at your right side, I will always be joyful.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
The Translations we quote are:
