Psalms 97:1-12 GNB The LORD  ( יהוה ) is king! Earth, be glad! Rejoice, you islands of the seas! (2) Clouds and darkness surround him; he rules with righteousness and justice. (3) Fire goes in front of him and burns up his enemies around him. (4) His lightning lights up the world; the earth sees it and trembles. (5) The hills melt like wax before the LORD  ( יהוה ) , before the Lord of all the earth. (6) The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the nations see his glory. (7) Everyone who worships idols is put to shame; all the gods bow down before the LORD  ( יהוה ) . (8) The people of Zion are glad, and the cities of Judah rejoice because of your judgments, O LORD  ( יהוה ) . (9) LORD  ( יהוה ) Almighty, you are ruler of all the earth; you are much greater than all the gods. (10) The LORD  ( יהוה ) loves those who hate evil; he protects the lives of his people; he rescues them from the power of the wicked. (11) Light shines on the righteous, and gladness on the good. (12) All you that are righteous be glad because of what the LORD  ( יהוה ) has done! Remember what the holy God has done, and give thanks to him.

Psalms 97:1-12 CEV The LORD  ( יהוה ) is King! Tell the earth to celebrate and all islands to shout. (2) Dark clouds surround him, and his throne is supported by justice and fairness. (3) Fire leaps from his throne, destroying his enemies, (4) and his lightning is so bright that the earth sees it and trembles. (5) Mountains melt away like wax in the presence of the LORD  ( יהוה ) of all the earth. (6) The heavens announce, "The LORD  ( יהוה ) brings justice!" Everyone sees God's glory. (7) Those who brag about the useless idols they worship are terribly ashamed, and all the false gods bow down to the LORD  ( יהוה ) . (8) When the people of Zion and of the towns of Judah hear that God brings justice, they will celebrate. (9) The LORD  ( יהוה ) rules the whole earth, and he is more glorious than all the false gods. (12) You are the LORD  ( יהוה ) 's people! So celebrate and praise the only God.

Psalm 97:1-12 Jehovah  ( יהוה ) himself has become king! Let the earth be joyful. Let the many islands rejoice.  2 Clouds and thick gloom are all around him; Righteousness and judgment are the established place of his throne.  3 Before him a very fire goes, And it consumes his adversaries all around.  4 His lightnings lighted up the productive land; The earth saw and came to be in severe pains.  5 The mountains themselves proceeded to melt just like wax on account of Jehovah  ( יהוה ) , On account of the Lord of the whole earth.  6 The heavens have told forth his righteousness, And all the peoples have seen his glory.  7 Let all those serving any carved image be ashamed, Those who are making their boast in valueless gods. Bow down to him, all YOU gods.  8 Zion heard and began to rejoice, And the dependent towns of Judah began to be joyful By reason of your judicial decisions, O Jehovah  ( יהוה ) .  9 For you, O Jehovah  ( יהוה ) , are the Most High over all the earth; You are very high in your ascent over all [other] gods. 10 O YOU lovers of Jehovah  ( יהוה ) , hate what is bad. He is guarding the souls of his loyal ones; Out of the hand of the wicked ones he delivers them. 11 Light itself has flashed up for the righteous one, And rejoicing even for the ones upright in heart. 12 Rejoice in Jehovah  ( יהוה ) , O YOU righteous ones, And give thanks to his holy memorial.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
