Zechariah 12:1-14 CEV ...This is a message from the LORD   () about Israel: I am the LORD  ()! I stretched out the heavens; I put the earth on its foundations and gave breath to humans. (2) I have decided that Jerusalem will become a bowl of wine that makes the neighboring nations drunk. And when Jerusalem is attacked, Judah will also be attacked. (3) But I will turn Jerusalem into a heavy stone that crushes anyone who tries to lift it. When all nations on earth surround Jerusalem, (4) I will make every horse panic and every rider confused. But at the same time, I will watch over Judah. (5) Then every clan in Judah will realize that I, the LORD  () All-Powerful, am their God, and that I am the source of their strength. (6) At that time I will let the clans of Judah be like a ball of fire in a wood pile or a fiery torch in a hay stack. Then Judah will send the surrounding nations up in smoke. And once again the city of Jerusalem will be filled with people. (7) But I will first give victory to Judah, so the kingdom of David and the city of Jerusalem in all of their glory won't be thought of more highly than Judah itself. (8) I, the LORD  () God, will protect Jerusalem. Even the weakest person there will be as strong as David, and David's kingdom will rule as though my very own angel were its leader. (9) I am determined to wipe out every nation that attacks Jerusalem. (10) I, the LORD  (), will make the descendants of David and the people of Jerusalem feel deep sorrow and pray when they see the one they pierced with a spear. They will mourn and weep for him, as parents weep over the death of their only child or their first-born. (11) On that day the people of Jerusalem will mourn as much as everyone did for Hadad Rimmon on the flatlands near Megiddo. (12) Everyone of each family in the land will mourn, and the men will mourn separately from the women. This includes those from the family of David, and the families of Nathan, (13) Levi, Shimei, (14) and all other families as well.

Zechariah 12:1-14 LITV ...The burden of the Word of Jehovah  () for Israel, says Jehovah  (), who stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man in his midst. (2) Behold! I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all the peoples all around, and it shall also be against Judah in the siege against Jerusalem. (3) And in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall be slashed. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. (4) In that day I will strike every horse with panic and his rider with madness, says Jehovah  (). And I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and I will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. (5) And the leaders of Judah shall say in their heart, Those living in Jerusalem shall be my strength in Jehovah  () of Hosts, their God. (6) In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire among cut grain. And they shall devour all the peoples all around, on the right hand and on the left hand. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her place, in Jerusalem. (7) Jehovah  () also shall save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of those living in Jerusalem may not be magnified above Judah. (8) In that day Jehovah  () shall protect around those living in Jerusalem. And it will be, he who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of Jehovah  () before them. (9) And it shall be in that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (10) And I will pour on the house of David, and on those living in Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of prayers. And they shall look on Me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they shall be bitter over Him, like the bitterness over the first-born. (11) In that day the mourning in Jerusalem shall be great, like the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddo. (12) And the land shall mourn, each family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; (13) the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; (14) all the families who remain, each family apart, and their wives apart.

Zechariah 12:1-14 ESV ...The burden of the word of the LORD  () concerning Israel: Thus declares the LORD  (), who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him: (2) "Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. (3) On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it. (4) On that day, declares the LORD  (), I will strike every horse with panic, and its rider with madness. But for the sake of the house of Judah I will keep my eyes open, when I strike every horse of the peoples with blindness. (5) Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the LORD  () of hosts, their God.' (6) "On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and to the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem. (7) "And the LORD  () will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah. (8) On that day the LORD  () will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD  (), going before them. (9) And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. (10) "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn. (11) On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad-rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (12) The land shall mourn, each family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; (13) the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself, and their wives by themselves; (14) and all the families that are left, each by itself, and their wives by themselves.

Zechariah 12:1-14 GNB ...This is a message about Israel from the LORD  (), the LORD  () who spread out the skies, created the earth, and gave life to man. He says, (2) "I will make Jerusalem like a cup of wine; the nations around her will drink and stagger like drunks. And when they besiege Jerusalem, the cities of the rest of Judah will also be besieged. (3) But when that time comes, I will make Jerusalem like a heavy stone---any nation that tries to lift it will be hurt. All the nations of the world will join forces to attack her. (4) At that time I will terrify all their horses and make all their riders go crazy. I will watch over the people of Judah, but I will make the horses of their enemies blind. (5) Then the clans of Judah will say to themselves, 'The LORD  () God Almighty gives strength to his people who live in Jerusalem.' (6) "At that time I will make the clans of Judah like a fire in a forest or in a field of ripe grain---they will destroy all the surrounding nations. The people of Jerusalem will remain safe in the city. (7) "I, the LORD  (), will give victory to the armies of Judah first, so that the honor which the descendants of David and the people of Jerusalem will receive will be no greater than that of the rest of Judah. (8) At that time the LORD  () will protect those who live in Jerusalem, and even the weakest among them will become as strong as David was. The descendants of David will lead them like the angel of the LORD  (), like God himself. (9) At that time I will destroy every nation that tries to attack Jerusalem. (10) "I will fill the descendants of David and the other people of Jerusalem with the spirit of mercy and the spirit of prayer. They will look at the one whom they stabbed to death, and they will mourn for him like those who mourn for an only child. They will mourn bitterly, like those who have lost their first-born son. (11) At that time the mourning in Jerusalem will be as great as the mourning for Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (12) Each family in the land will mourn by itself: the family descended from David, the family descended from Nathan, the family descended from Levi, the family descended from Shimei, and all the other families. Each family will mourn by itself, and the men of each family will mourn separately from the women. (13) (SEE 12:12) (14) (SEE 12:12)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
