We wish for one thing to be crystal clear from the beginning: This is not an effort to start a new church or a new religion, or to create a new form of worship. Rather, it is an effort to be in association with members of a very old religion or group. We want, and we strive, to be in the group started by Christ Jesus some 2000 years ago. While we want to be in association with others of like faith, [as we exert ourselves to "draw close to God," (James 4:8)] we also guard against being overcome by that very association, thus becoming a Doeg: A person having more love for the group than for God. No one should be tied to this site, nor any other group or individual, as the source of their faith. Rather, all should rest their hope in the Bible, and in the teachings of the Christ. Our purpose is to help all to understand that "truth," and to assist all in that endeavor by encouraging insight into the Bible. As long as you own a Bible, and work to become "noble minded," no one can deter you from that goal, or rob away your hope. (Matthew 10:28) - (Matthew 4:10) It is your privilege and responsibility, and it is our encouragement, for you to verify that what is presented here comes from the Bible.
