John 15:11-17 NWT “These things I have spoken to YOU, that my joy may be in YOU and YOUR joy may be made full. 12 This is my commandment, that YOU love one another just as I have loved YOU. 13 No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul in behalf of his friends. 14 YOU are my friends if YOU do what I am commanding YOU. 15 I no longer call YOU slaves, because a slave does not know what his master does. But I have called YOU friends, because all the things I have heard from my Father I have made known to YOU. 16 YOU did not choose me, but I chose YOU, [John 6:43-47] and I appointed YOU to go on and keep bearing fruit and that YOUR fruit should remain; in order that no matter what YOU ask the Father in my name he might give it to YOU. 17 “These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another.
John 15:11-17 ESV These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (12) "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. (14) You are my friends if you do what I command you. (15) No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. (16) You did not choose me, but I chose you [John 6:43-47] and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. (17) These things I command you, so that you will love one another.
John 15:11-17 GW I have told you this so that you will be as joyful as I am, and your joy will be complete. (12) Love each other as I have loved you. This is what I'm commanding you to do. (13) The greatest love you can show is to give your life for your friends. (14) You are my friends if you obey my commandments. (15) I don't call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn't know what his master is doing. But I've called you friends because I've made known to you everything that I've heard from my Father. (16) You didn't choose me, but I chose you. [John 6:43-47] I have appointed you to go, to produce fruit that will last, and to ask the Father in my name to give you whatever you ask for. (17) Love each other. This is what I'm commanding you to do.
John 15:11-17 GNB "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. (12) My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you. (13) The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them. (14) And you are my friends if you do what I command you. (15) I do not call you servants any longer, because servants do not know what their master is doing. Instead, I call you friends, because I have told you everything I heard from my Father. (16) You did not choose me; I chose you [John 6:43-47] and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name. (17) This, then, is what I command you: love one another.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
