These five scriptures are connected by subject. It means life to embrace what they all together promise: Understanding the hope they convey does require you apply deductive reasoning [Heb 5:11-14] to arrive at their syllogism (a conclusion apparent in the facts presented). We live in the day of tribulation and salvation promised by Jesus: [Luke 21:28]

[2 Kings 5:9-14]
Reflect on how the words of Jesus amount to the
return to mankind of the tree of life. [Rev 2:7]

Below is Christ's scriptural directive bringing life. [Luke 17:22-27]
It is for those who are broken at heart over
all the pain and suffering in this world. [Eze 9:4-6]
These scriptures explain the method of your personal deliverance.

---1. Christ intended his followers have faith. ➠
Mark 4:35-41 ESV    On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, "Let us go across to the other side." (36) And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. (37) And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. (38) But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, "Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?" (39) And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (40) He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?" (41) And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

2.➠ Faith would give them power! ➠
Mark 11:22-23 ESV    And Jesus answered them, "Have faith in God. (23) Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

3.➠ That power would be by God's spirit. ➠
Luke 11:9-13 GW    "So I tell you to ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. (10) Everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find, and for the person who knocks, the door will be opened. (11) "If your child asks you, his father, for a fish, would you give him a snake instead? (12) Or if your child asks you for an egg, would you give him a scorpion? (13) Even though you're evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children. So how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"

4.➠ God's spirit is through knowledge
of Christ's words.
 ➠
John 6:63 GNB    What gives life is God's Spirit; human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God's life-giving Spirit.

5.➠ We do God's will by listening to Christ. ➠
Mark 3:31-35 ESV    And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. (32) And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, "Your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you." (33) And he answered them, "Who are my mother and my brothers?" (34) And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! (35) For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother." [John 6:28-29; John 6:45-47; John 14:23]

4.➠ We can only gain life through God's spirit;
by reading the words of his Christ (Anointed One). ---
John 6:63 ESV    It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

To gain eternal life you must realize
your absolute need to take in God's spirit: You must also know

[Job 33:13-30; John 11:26; Heb 10:37-39; John 6:47]

If you are blessed by God to understand these scriptures,
but you're not warning everyone else so as to help them break free [John 8:31-32] of their religious ignorance,
can you really expect to be blessed with God's spirit?
[Rom 10:9-15]

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
