1 Timothy 2:8 YLT I wish, therefore, that men pray in every place, lifting up kind hands, apart from anger and reasoning;

1 Timothy 2:8 CEV I want everyone everywhere to lift innocent hands toward heaven and pray, without being angry or arguing with each other.

We must never argue about what is not important. Religious doctrine, because it is "reasoned" out by men, is always unimportant. The actual teachings of Christ are what is important... (1 Pet 3:13-15; Mat 16:5-12) Please note the Analytical Literal Translation of the Bible equates dissension with doubting.

1 Timothy 2:8 GW I want men to offer prayers everywhere. They should raise their hands in prayer after putting aside their anger and any quarrels they have with anyone.

1 Timothy 2:8 Analytical Literal Translation Therefore, I want men to be praying in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension [or, doubting].

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
