This scripture tells us Blood and Water flowed from Jesus's side. Jesus several times said we needed to accept and drink the living waters he brought us. (John 4:7‑15) That living water represents God's Spirit through faith in Christ, only available in the words of Jesus. (John 6:63)

John 19:34 GNB One of the soldiers, however, plunged his spear into Jesus' side, and at once blood and water poured out.

John 19:34 CEV One of the soldiers stuck his spear into Jesus' side, and blood and water came out.

John 19:34 GW However, one of the soldiers stabbed Jesus' side with his spear, and blood and water immediately came out.

John 19:34 ESV But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
