Mark 12:35-37 MWT
35 However, answering, Jesus began to say as he taught in the temple: "How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is David's son? 36 By the holy spirit David himself said, 'Jehovah said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies beneath your feet."' [Psalm 110:1] 37 David himself calls him 'Lord,' so how is it that he is David's son?" And the great crowd was listening to him with pleasure.

If you know Christ Jesus, you gladly hear his words and understand what he said at Mark 12:35-37. Jesus is David's son (Mat 1:1) because David is an ancestor of both Joseph and Mary. Jesus is also David's lord because Jehovah resurrected him and appointed him as lord of all the earth. (Eph 1:19-21 ; Mat 28:18 ; 1 Cor 15:24-28) Thus, David will also be subject to Christ when he is resurrected. Christ is also call "the Son of man" because he is "the seed of the woman." (Gen 3:15) Actually, the Son of God has many titles.

Mark 12:35-37 CEV
As Jesus was teaching in the temple, he said, "How can the teachers of the Law of Moses say that the Messiah will come from the family of King David? (36) The Holy Spirit led David to say, 'The Lord [Jehovah] said to my Lord: Sit at my right side until I make your enemies into a footstool for you.' [Psalm 110:1] (37) If David called the Messiah his Lord, how can the Messiah be his son?" The large crowd enjoyed listening to Jesus teach.

Mark 12:35-37 ALT
Then answering, Jesus was saying, teaching in the temple, "How are the scribes saying that the Christ [or, the Messiah, and throughout book] is [the] Son of David? (36) "For David himself said by [the] Holy Spirit, 'The LORD says to my Lord, "Be sitting at My right hand until I put Your enemies [as] Your footstool for Your feet."' [Psalm 110:1] (37) "Therefore, David himself calls Him 'Lord.' Then how is He his Son?" And the large crowd was gladly hearing him.

Mark 12:35-37 LITV
And teaching in the temple, answering, Jesus said, How do the scribes say that Christ is the son of David? (36) For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, "The Lord said to my Lord, Sit off My right until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet." [Psalm 110:1] (37) Then David himself calls Him Lord. And from where is He his son? And the large crowd heard Him gladly.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
