This is a prophecy uttered by King David about Jesus Christ as God's promised Messiah and appointed King. David uttered these beautiful words a little over 1000 years before Jesus Christ was born. Jesus is now ruling in the midst of his enemies while his followers, springing from the womb of the dawn, spread his words through the earth like a sword against wickedness. The words of Christ are bringing death and despair to his Father's enemies, but peace and life eternal to all who are searching for God. (2 Chron 16:9)
These two chapters should bring you joy and hope and relief!
Understand: Faith in them can grant you life!

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
