Revelation 18:1-6 ESV
After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. (2) And he called out with a mighty voice, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast. (3) For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living." (4) Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; (5) for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. (6) Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed.

These verses (note verse four) warn you about the danger of remaining part of any one of the religions of this world. The world is illuminated by the words of Christ, and religion has been exposed. (John 15:22) Taken during World War II, there are photos of Catholic priests sprinkling holy water on German tanks, just like they did in other nations. Most members of the other religions groups also aligned themselves with the nation in which they lived. The nations have become drunk with the desire to go to war and do other bad things, by their having such religious support. They imagined their wars to be supported by God. The Roman Catholic Church helped even Hitler to believe that. Now, the religions of this world are all being paid back for their war mongering, and for their abuse of the innocents and children, and all the other harm they heaped on the people they have claimed to serve. If you want life, get clear of them all.

Revelation 18:1-6 GW
After these things I saw another angel come from heaven. He had tremendous power, and his glory lit up the earth. (2) He cried out in a powerful voice, "Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a prison for every evil spirit, every unclean bird, and every unclean and hated beast. (3) All the nations fell because of the wine of her sexual sins. The kings of the earth had sex with her. Her luxurious wealth has made the merchants of the earth rich." (4) I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of Babylon, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins and suffer from any of her plagues. (5) Her sins are piled as high as heaven, and God has remembered her crimes. (6) Do to her what she has done. Give her twice as much as she gave. Serve her a drink in her own cup twice as large as the drink she served others.

Revelation 18:1-6 CEV
I saw another angel come from heaven. This one had great power, and the earth was bright because of his glory. (2) The angel shouted, "Fallen! Powerful Babylon has fallen and is now the home of demons. It is the den of every filthy spirit and of all unclean birds, and every dirty and hated animal. (3) Babylon's evil and immoral wine has made all nations drunk. Every king on earth has slept with her, and every merchant on earth is rich because of her evil desires." (4) Then I heard another voice from heaven shout, "My people, you must escape from Babylon. Don't take part in her sins and share her punishment. (5) Her sins are piled as high as heaven. God has remembered the evil she has done. (6) Treat her as she has treated others. Make her pay double for what she has done. Make her drink twice as much of what she mixed for others.

Revelation 18:1-6 GNB
After this I saw another angel coming down out of heaven. He had great authority, and his splendor brightened the whole earth. (2) He cried out in a loud voice: "She has fallen! Great Babylon has fallen! She is now haunted by demons and unclean spirits; all kinds of filthy and hateful birds live in her. (3) For all the nations have drunk her wine---the strong wine of her immoral lust. The kings of the earth practiced sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the world grew rich from her unrestrained lust." (4) Then I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out, my people! Come out from her! You must not take part in her sins; you must not share in her punishment! (5) For her sins are piled up as high as heaven, and God remembers her wicked ways. (6) Treat her exactly as she has treated you; pay her back double for all she has done. Fill her cup with a drink twice as strong as the drink she prepared for you.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
