John 7:37-39 CEV On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus stood up and shouted, "If you are thirsty, come to me and drink! (38) Have faith in me, and you will have life-giving water flowing from deep inside you, just as the Scriptures say." (39) Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit, who would be given to everyone that had faith in him. The Spirit had not yet been given to anyone, since Jesus had not yet been given his full glory. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

John 7:37-39 GW On the last and most important day of the festival, Jesus was standing in the temple courtyard. He said loudly, "Whoever is thirsty must come to me to drink. (38) As Scripture says, 'Streams of living water will flow from deep within the person who believes in me.'" (39) Jesus said this about the Spirit, whom his believers would receive. The Spirit was not yet evident, as it would be after Jesus had been glorified. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

John 7:37-39 YLT And in the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, `If any one doth thirst, let him come unto me and drink; (38) he who is believing in me, according as the Writing said, Rivers out of his belly shall flow of living water;' (39) and this he said of the Spirit, which those believing in him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

John 7:37-39 BBE On the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus got up and said in a loud voice, If any man is in need of drink let him come to me and I will give it to him. (38) He who has faith in me, out of his body, as the Writings have said, will come rivers of living water. (39) This he said of the Spirit which would be given to those who had faith in him: the Spirit had not been given then, because the glory of Jesus was still to come. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

John 7:37-39 NWT 37 Now on the last day, the great day of the festival, Jesus was standing up and he cried out, saying: “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 38 He that puts faith in me, just as the Scripture has said, ‘Out from his inmost part streams of living water will flow.’” 39 However, he said this concerning the spirit which those who put faith in him were about to receive; for as yet there was no spirit, because Jesus had not yet been glorified. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

John 7:37-39 GNB On the last and most important day of the festival Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, "Whoever is thirsty should come to me, and (38) whoever believes in me should drink. As the scripture says, 'Streams of life-giving water will pour out from his side.' " (39) Jesus said this about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were going to receive. At that time the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not been raised to glory. (John 16:7; John 15:26-27; John 14:26; John 19:34)

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek. Since we don't speak those languages, we rely on those who have come before and made the effort to translate those texts into English for us. Considering several translations gives the benefit of the understanding of several translation committees or individuals.
