Ezekiel 39:1-13 MWT ..."And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, Thus says the Lord GOD יהוה: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal [the modern day kings of the earth]. (2) And I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from the uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel. [This is not the fleshly Israel who are the blood line descendants of Abraham. This refers to the modern day Spiritual Israel, who are all those individuals who have true faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ. (Gal 3:5-9; Gal 3:26-29)] (3) Then I will strike your bow from your left hand, and will make your arrows drop out of your right hand. (4) You shall fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your hordes and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. (5) You shall fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares יהוהGod Almighty. (6) I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they shall know that I am יהוה, the one true God. [Mal 3:16-4:3] (7) "And my holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And the nations shall know that I am יהוה, the Holy One in Israel. (8) Behold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares יהוה. That is the day of which I have spoken. (9) "Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and make fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, clubs and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years, (10) so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for they will make their fires of the weapons. They will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, יהוה declares. (11) "On that day I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel [which will be all the earth], the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. It will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog. (12) For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. (13) All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that I show my glory, so declares יהוה.

(4) Gog and his army and his allies will fall dead on the mountains of Israel, and I will let their bodies be food for all the birds and wild animals. (5) They will fall dead in the open field. I, the Sovereign LORD (יהוה), have spoken. (6) I will start a fire in the land of Magog and along all the seacoasts where people live undisturbed, and everyone will know that I am the LORD (יהוה). [Mal 3:16-4:3] (7) I will make sure that my people Israel know my holy name, and I will not let my name be disgraced any more. Then the nations will know that I, the LORD (יהוה), am the holy God of Israel." (8) The Sovereign LORD (יהוה) said, "The day I spoke about is certain to come. (9) The people who live in the cities of Israel will go out and collect the abandoned weapons for firewood. They will build fires with the shields, bows, arrows, spears, and clubs, and have enough to last for seven years. (10) They will not have to gather firewood in the fields or cut down trees in the forest, because they will have the abandoned weapons to burn. They will loot and plunder those who looted and plundered them." The Sovereign LORD (יהוה) has spoken. (11) The LORD (יהוה) said, "When all this happens, I will give Gog a burial ground there in Israel [which will be all the earth], in Travelers' Valley, east of the Dead Sea. Gog and all his army will be buried there, and the valley will be called 'The Valley of Gog's Army.' (12) It will take the Israelites seven months to bury all the corpses and make the land clean again. (13) Everyone in the land will help bury them, and they will be honored for this on the day of my victory. I, the Sovereign LORD (יהוה), have spoken.

To birds of prey, birds of every sort of wing, and the wild beasts of the field I will give you for food.”’ 5 “‘Upon the surface of the field you will fall, for I myself have spoken,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (יהוה). 6 “‘And I will send fire upon Ma´gog and upon those who are inhabiting the islands in security; and people will have to know that I am Jehovah (יהוה). [Mal 3:16-4:3] 7 And my holy name I shall make known in the midst of my people Israel, and I shall no more let my holy name be profaned; and the nations will have to know that I am Jehovah (יהוה), the Holy One in Israel.’ 8 “‘Look! It must come and it must be brought to be,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (יהוה). ‘This is the day of which I have spoken. 9 And the inhabitants of the cities of Israel will certainly go forth and burn and build fires with the armor and bucklers and large shields,—with the bows and with the arrows and with the handstaves and with the lances; and with them they will have to light fires seven years. 10 And they will not carry sticks of wood from the field, nor will they gather firewood out of the forests, for with the armor they will light fires.’ “‘And they will certainly make spoil of those who had been making spoil of them, and plunder those who had been plundering them,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (יהוה). 11 “‘And it must occur in that day that I shall give to Gog a place there, a burial place in Israel [which will be all the earth], the valley of those passing through on the east of the sea, and it will be stopping up those passing through. And there they will have to bury Gog and all his crowd, and they will be certain to call [it] the Valley of Gog’s Crowd. 12 And those of the house of Israel will have to bury them for the purpose of cleansing the land, for seven months. 13 And all the people of the land will have to do the burying, and it will certainly become for them a matter of fame in the day that I glorify myself,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (יהוה).
